"Wonderful little cabin! Very clean, comfortable, private and peaceful. Well-equipped kitchen. Beautiful views. The hot tub and propane grill were bonuses and the fireplace gave a cozy feel in the evening. You can tell the owners put great thought and intention into everything from the decor, window coverings, fresh linens and towels to a tiny Christmas tree for the season. The owner Tony communicated perfectly providing timely details and clearing up issues immediately. The property overlooks a ranch with bulls, cows and other animals. "I recently stayed at Red Oak Retreats cabin, and it was an outstanding experience. The cabin itself was cozy, clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The surrounding scenery was stunning, especially with the fresh snowfall.Greg, the host, went above and beyond to ensure our safety and comfort. "The cabin was comfortable and very cute. The only thing that upset me was that the water was unsafe- even when put in the Brita Filter. It smelled strongly of metal and when I rinsed out a cup that had had it in it, it had a red/brown residue. So we had to buy water to wash hands and drink etc. But the area is really beautiful and I understand we're in the woods. It's a very comfy spot."

We wanted a place to celebrate the holidays with family (parents and young adult kids) and we all love competitive activities.
