"We enjoyed our stay. The room was lovely. We stayed on a Monday evening and were disappointed that the Marco Pierre White’s restaurant was not open on a Monday. Leo’s bar was not a comfortable alternative very much a bar, and not where we would have chosen to eat. Also the limited menu was extremely expensive. An alternative small dining room with a traditional menu would, I’m sure, appeal to many more guests like us. I chose this hotel because of the indoor pool and the very kind Receptionist...

The only issue is that we weren’t told we wouldn’t be able to use the swimming pool until after 1pm until we actually went to use it around 10am . "

"This is one of the best stays we have enjoyed in a hotel. Everything was amazing and we felt so relaxed. The staff are helpful and friendly and the food was delicious. We had intended to eat out but ended up enjoying our meals in the hotel. It is exceptionally clean and well presented with attention to detail. The riverside walk into Oxford is a bonus. "We had a lovely warm welcome from the receptionist with a great value upgrade. Hotel is clean and modern. Some members of staff could do with being trained on how to make guests feel welcome (a simple ‘hello’ when they return after a night out, or a ‘good morning’ when they sit down for breakfast…). Quality of breakfast was a little disappointing - cheap, undercooked sausages and bacon…Overall, a nice stay though. We would return. "
