Quiet, cozy, cottage on the lake with nice outdoor patio area for grilling and backyard area for relaxing and bon fires (wood is provided for bon fires). Large, three section, pier perfect for fishing off of all day and night. There are fishing poles in the cottage for guests to use. During the winter you can ice fish on the lake right out your back door. The inside of the cottage has two bedrooms with either a full or queen size bed along with one dresser, as well as two bathrooms, two living rooms with two televisions, a kitchen space with eat in area, and a laundry room. The two couches on the left side of the cottage, when facing the lake, lay flat for individuals to sleep on. There are plenty of additional sheets, blankets, and pillows in the wall closet to use. There is also an air mattress provided for use. Patio and bbq grill outside in the backyard with a table and chairs for outdoor eating. Lots of outdoor seating. There is a hammock by the lake. The Trading Post, a bar/restaurant that serves food and drinks is near by as well as a coffee shop, the Mt Morris Mill, that has smoothies, coffee, and ice cream. The Hideaway, a bar/restaurant, a bit further down the road, is great for food and drinks too. Wautoma is nearby for grocery shopping, marinas, bars, restaurants, and ad hoc shopping as well. Spectacular fishing and swimming lake during the summer. Lots of biking and hiking paths nearby. Snow Skiing, tubing, and snowmobiling paths just a few minutes away for winter fun at Nordic Mountain. There are snowmobiling paths all around the Knest. The cottage has all the essentials of a home away from home. For the first time the Knepper’s Knest has been open to the public to enjoy, after 70 years, it’s time to share the love. Give yourself, your friends, your family, a little slice of heaven on earth and spends few days at the Knepper’s Knest and enjoy what little old Mt Morris has to offer, then explore the near by towns, Wautoma, Wild Rose, Redgranite, Saxville, and even Waupauca which is a bit further a way. The Wisconsin Dells is only an hour away. There is a lot of action and fun going on there if you are looking for action.
