"A very popular pub , restaurant and guest house. I’ve been here three times in the last few months and look for a reservation every time I’m working in the area. Just stayed over a damp wet Wednesday night and the place was bursting which was amazing to see. I recommend booking a table for food as there is not much of a chance to walk in . The rooms are clean & comfortable and has chairs and a desk I can work from if needed. Breakfast which is ordered the night before is wonderful, flavoursome...

"Lovely little pub not far out of Merthyr Tydfil and a 20 minute drive from Pen y fan. The double room was small but cosy for one and the was a good shower and plenty of tea. Service was excellent, with a warm welcome and useful information. I was there for two nights and the room wasn't refreshed but this wasn't a problem for me. Breakfast was excellent and there is a great selection of for for dinner in the pub for great prices."

"Mill Lodge is located in a quiet side street with pubs and food shopping nearby. Our compact accommodation was very clean, cosy, comfortable and had all we needed, with a generous supply of teas, coffee and Welsh cakes in the room. At breakfast, there was a wide choice of quality ingredients to choose from, carefully prepared and presented in impeccable style. A nice touch was the freshly squeezed orange juice. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful. "

"Situated at the end of a quiet lane with breath taking views of the countryside and the Black Mountains beyond, we were met by our wonderful host Sophie who welcomed us to her lovely home. Private entrance to the house, with everything you could possibly need, thoughtfully delivered to provide a very comfortable stay. Breakfast was delicious and the best I have had in some time. Sophie was knowledgable and super helpful, and lovely to get to know. Totally recommend staying."
