"This is a historic hotel. The common areas and the restaurant are great. Our room was very small and tired. The bathroom had been remodeled and was very nice. The rest of the room needed a major overhaul. The wiring was all wiremold; It still had a SMALL analog TV; The furnishings were probably at least 20 years old (not old enough to be antiques), etc.... This hotel has great potential if they would do a MAJOR renovation."

"This property is one of the nicest we've ever stayed in -- clean, comfortable, and full of personality and small luxuries. Alyssa is a responsive, flexible, and friendly host, and she accommodated our special requests (late checkout, having a guest visit) without hesitation. We have two small dogs, so we loved that the home is a quiet, standalone building with total privacy, and that the yard is very safe with a good fence, no poison ivy, no old poop, and comfortable chairs for humans to sit and...
