"We enjoyed ourselves in this lovely home! It was very clean, well organized, and beautifully maintained. Everything was very comfortable. Communication with the owner was also fantastic! The home is also within walking distance of groceries should individuals enjoy cooking. This was a great benefit to us! I would recommend this location to anyone wishing to visit the area! Be sure to curl up on the couch with a cup of hot chocolate and enjoy your shows!"

"Lovely clean cottage with everything you need, set in a quiet rural setting, lots of nice walks and plenty of fishing, the road in is a bit bumpy it’s a rural country road, you have to drive slow but worth the drive for the secluded location the scenery coming in was amazing."

We are a group of 4 Motorcyclists completing the NC500 and this place has excellent secure bike parking in the courtyard garden. House is very clean and tidy. "Everything was as advertised and was terrific. The location is stunning. The lodge was clean and comfortable. The appliances did their jobs and the fireplace, bedding, and every other detail were all just right. Our only complaint is that we were not informed of what was clearly a scheduled power outage on our last morning which was inconvenient, to say the least."

"It was certainly an adventure getting to the cottage whilst folliwing the directions 🤔 But the property was even better than we had expected"

"I loved the remoteness of this wee cottage. If you’re looking for somewhere quiet, with lots of lovely walks, then this is ideal. The cottage is powered by a generator, which you can hear but soon get used to. Make sure you bring everything you need, it’s a fair trek to the nearest shop! My dog ran around the forest all day long and slept all night and I chilled out with a glass or two of wine. I hope to visit again in the not too distant future."
