"Our family enjoys a weekend away each winter and we look for a place with lots of bedrooms and at least two bathrooms. This place had what we needed with the extras such as the hot tub and sauna and use of the community pool. Not only did we enjoy our time together but also all the amenities that came with it. We had a very relaxing and enjoyable time. Gaylord is not far away so we spent time there as well. This place was just what we needed."

"We had a wonderful trip, the snow was deep and our gracious host came out to plow the drive for us before we got there! The pellet stove kept us toasty and we enjoyed the games and backyard snowball fights when we weren’t skiing. Wonderful visit and will return!"

"The inside is pristine, very cute up north decor throughout the house. Hot tub and fireplace are definitely a plus! Close enough to town but far enough to be in nature. Love the window with the bird feeders outside. Saw many birds, squirrels, chipmunks, and a rabbit. Very relaxing place to be! "

"The property was great for a large family! There was plenty of space for all of us. We took a shower on the first night there and the hot water ran out within minutes. We called the property manager and they came out immediately and fixed it. "The cabin was unclean. Cobwebs everywhere dead flowers in a vase near the kitchen. All four corner of the shower had large cob webs in them. Dead bugs in the bathroom sink. AND THE SMELL!!! Mold or mildew or just plain gross! If the cabin had been sanitary all be it small it would have been an enjoyable stay. The host who lives 20 feet from the front door has "junk" piled up between the buildings. Surprised VRBO put their name to this cabin."

We had a couple snow storms while we were there and Aaron and Kim sent us a message to see if we needed the driveway plowed so we could get out. The cabin was clean and well stocked. The hosts were friendly and non-intrusive. The cabin is a little drafty, but it's a cabin in Michigan in the winter. We expected that and it was easy enough to take steps to counter it. "It was nice to stay at this location. It is well located and close to town. It's a small cabin, but plenty of room for a couple or maybe 3 folks. The bathroom is small but manageable. I only used the one double bed and the mattress needs to be replaced. I was also surprised there is no microwave. the parking area is small, but the surrounding trees are tall and lovely. I enjoyed my stay overall."
