The Black Hawk provides a wonderful stay and had so much history. Will definitely stay again. They could work on parking as that was a bit of a hassle.

It is a very cool historical building. This creates a great vibe, but also has some limitations. The lobby was breezy and cool on the very cold winter days. Room size was nice, but the shower was cramped and small. However water pressure and hot water were great!

We loved the history and all of the antiques scattered throughout the hotel. The Saturday night live jazz was also wonderful! It was right in the middle of the historic downtown.

I stay at the Blackhawk every time I come to town for work. BUT.... now that they don't have onsite parking (which is recent) - I would not stay here again. Having to drag a suitcase and other things 2-4 blocks is just horrible. Especially when its cold and bad weather. Unless they fix the parking issue, I would not recommend.

We really loved the historical atmosphere of the hotel. Loved looking at the rooms and antiques. The staff were very helpful and we enjoyed having breakfast at Le Petit. We would certainly chose this hotel to stay in again!!

This is a beautiful old Hotel. Food and entertainment are in walking distance. Stay on the weekend and you can enjoy the Farmers market.
