The pictures show the lake cottage charm well, but we had no idea how many updated, modern features the cottage would have. "This property was amazing. 10 acres of woods with a large private lake. We thoroughly enjoyed the peace and quiet and relaxation. There are lots of small towns nearby that are fun to explore. The host family were so kind and personable. Thank you!"

"Superbly clean, quaint, very well appointed and decorated, cozy lake home. A group of 5 friends and I met here for the weekend and had a marvelous stay. We enjoyed taking the kayaks out for a spin on beautiful Lake George, taking a long walk around the lake, and spending lots of time catching up and visiting in the cozy home. "This home had absolutely EVERYTHING we needed for a long weekend by the lake. Kitchen is fully stocked, beds are comfortable, the yard has a swing and lots of birds, and the fire pit made the nights sooo relaxing. The property is a short walk away from the local campground- we rented a pontoon from them and had a great time on the lake. This place is perfect for a relaxing and peaceful vacation. 100 stars!!! "
