I received instructions the day we arrived on how to access the room as we were going to arrive after 8pm, so not sure if we had arrived earlier if that would have been different. "The reception office was locked with no one inside upon our arrival. The door had instructions to call a local phone number, meaning the cost of an international phone call paid by us. The male employee appeared on foot 5 minutes later. Explaining that the hotel is "5 different buildings," our room was down the street with an unmarked door. "Barely merits being called a hotel. The bedroom had no blind, was next to a night club, the stairs to the floor below were perilous, the electrical sockets were broken, the furniture was Spartan. We were asked to hand over more money than we had agreed on Expedia in cash when we arrived. Awful. The location was the only good point. "
