"Driftwood is everything we imagined and more. The cottage is beautifully and tastefully appointed, inside and out. We loved walking into the open dining/kitchen/livingroom area and seeing nothing but ocean out the large picture window. The cottage sits right on the beach. "The total price for less than a 20 hr stay was a little over $800. For that price we had an expectation of a clean and comfortable night. Not the case. We found dirty sheets on one bed and one bed with no sheets. The property owner did promptly send someone to fix the beds. There was food in the refrigerator left by someone. The house had a musty smell throughout. Again, for that price we had an expectation of atleast the ability to have coffee in the morning. No coffee. Even the low end...

"We had a nice stay at Ricky's home. Communication with the host was immediate which was great. The description written does not match the house, it only sleeps 8. It says there's a room with two double beds. They are only twins. Maybe the sofa pulls out too, didn't check. There's a great game room with shuffleboard, pool table and video games which was fun but there is no air hockey, foosball or ping pong as stated in description. House is nice and quiet. "

"This 1 BR apartment is very spacious, comfortable and cute. It came very well equipped with everything you need including washer and dryer. It was very, very clean and decorated very nicely. The property also has a salt-water pool, fitness center, dog park and multiple BBQ’s. Definitely the place to stay in southeastern CT."
