"Excellence property. Easily would have been 5 stars had they not been cutting concrete everyday we were there next to the pool. I’d love to come back when there’s not construction going on. Really takes away from the ambience of the pool cabana experience "

"We enjoyed our stay at Point Pleasant resort, staff were very friendly and our room was upgraded with out asking and with no extra charge."

"Pros: great location in nature next to the water, excellent pool, very clean linens, kind staff Cons: non potable water (showers and drinking water at trunks bay 30 min away), restricted airflow through cabin, stairs, not actually in a tree ;)"

"We absolutely had the best time. Nicole at the gift shop is top notch and comes with many local recommendations. If anything, it would an added value for the experience to add a screen door the back doors that open beach side. "

"Extremely clean, well appointed, and comfortable in room experience. The views from the deck are fantastic if weather becomes an issue. The gated community makes it one of the safest properties I've ever stayed in throughout the Caribbean. Fine dining that you can walk to as well!"

"Absolutely loved my stay. Cute private beach, fantastic massive pool with a great swim up bar, fantastic drinks, and honestly the pool bar sandwiches were fantastic. The restaurant is best for brunch in my opinion, dinner is good but more limited. Make sure you ask about dessert! I didn’t find out until the last night, and all of the desserts are made in house, including the ice cream, and it was like the best thing I ate the whole trip! The rum raisin brownie and mint ice cream in particular...

"There was sand in corners or bathroom floor. Power outages as expected but on day of arrival there were 2 with no storms. Since AC was off until we arrived at condo & stayed out until 1 a.m. return it was very humid. Good bought on way was not able to survive since fridge was warm upon arrival. "

Castle Villas at Bluebeard's by Capital Vacations

"The hotel in St Thomas was amazing, beautiful and very clean. The room was very large, love that there were utensils, glasses, dishes a full-size fridge and microwave. The patio is so spacious and cozy, spent a lot of mornings out there. There are two small grocery stores nearby that are great for drinks, ice and other necessities making it very convenient. We rented a vehicle and took the ferry from Red Hook to St John. Be aware of the Ferry schedule so you dont get stranded in St John, Hotels are very steep if renting because you missed the ferry. Trunk Beach is a must to visit, so beautiful. Overall, I give this hotel 5 stars! Wear walking shoes you will need them, lots of steep roads, and stairwells everywhere you go."

"We absolutely loved the view!!! Our room was very clean and pleasant. The staff was fantastic--special shout out to Kalina, Kahirah, Jeneva and Elizabeth! Kalina hooked us up with a wonderful driver (Mike) who gave us a private tour of the island. We enjoyed sitting by the pool as well as the complimentary breakfast. The hotel is still coming back from hurricane damage so the restaurant wasn't open and repairs were being made while we were there but there was nothing that interfered with our trip in terms of noise or inconvenience except the lack of nearby restaurants and the limited number of delivery options. We had a terrible experience with Dominos--avoid if at all possible. We had them answer the phone and hang up on us several times as well as delivering pasta to us (took almost an hour and a half) with no utensils. By then the front desk was closed so we had to eat with our fingers!! The hotel is a keeper--Dominos is not!"
