Great stay
My sister and I stayed a week. James, our host, was very accommodating, especially since we are both in our 70s. The property is as advertised and it was nice returning “home” after a full day of sightseeing.

Great weekend getaway!
We really enjoyed our stay at this property. It was very comfortable and clean. The host was great - always responded quickly to any questions we had! Great location with easy parking on the street and a quick drive to all of the tourist places. Would definitely come back !

An outstanding property for our DC vacation. A great location to Uber and walk to our destinations. Our Host was fantastic! Stylish abode in perfect location.
We are seasoned vacation renters. We found this place to be in a great location. Walk to H Street, Union Market and the Capitol. Well appointed place featured lots of room to socialize and hang out. Comfy beds. We had a great time and James, our host, was very responsive to our one question about the TV. We will be back.

The place was exactly as the photos online. The space may appear to be small but it’s far from it. There was plenty of space to accommodate me and my family. James was friendly and communicated in a timely manner.

The property was great - very homey and clean with lots of plants. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen well provided with lots of pots/pans etc and also basic cooking supplies (spices, oils etc.) James, the host, was very responsive and helpful. Easy transportation- Bus to the mall took 35 minutes.

Communication with our host, James, was great. He even helped us carry our things inside while it was raining. The house did not disappoint-lovely updated row home with all the old charm intact. Nice open floor plan with beautiful kitchen. I would definitely recommend and would stay here again!

Great home base for exploring the capital!
We really enjoyed staying at this property for a recent weekend getaway. It’s not easy to please teenagers, and our 13 and 15 year olds were very happy to stay here. They each had their own room, were able to watch a movie on a huge TV and liked how there were a lot of restaurants in close proximity to the property. The location makes it very easy to get to all of the landmarks you would want to see. The private parking behind the property was so convenient. We had no issues with the electric locks and no worries about misplacing keys. The property was very clean and well stocked with plenty of room for all of us. We would absolutely stay here again!

Perfect house for a large family
Everything from beginning to end was great! There were lots of towels, extra soaps, and cleaning products. If you go in winter it is chilly in the back of the house so I would bring a couple blankets if you have 10 people. They have some but our kids wanted more luckily we brought a couple. Overall the house is great and James is accommodating and very nice! Would definitely stay again!

Family vacation for children and grandchildren
Good location, comfortable beds although bedrooms are all upstairs. Owner was very responsive. House has minor maintenance issues in master bathroom and dishwasher. All bathtubs should have a non stick mat to prevent slippage. Need more info about door locks (back), tv operation, thermostat, etc. Recommend you have a written guide available for guests (operating instructions, location of local stores/restaurants, etc). Other VRBOs that have this made our stay more enjoyable.

My family and I stayed here for a cousin’s wedding in DC. The house is lovely and had all the amenities you could need. The owner was great and easy to communicate with. I highly recommend a stay here.

Great spot in DC!
This place is a great place to stay while you are exploring DC. It's not far from a Metro station (20 min walk) plus it's close to the Union Market. Highly recommend!

A great home in cute DC neighborhood.
Our family of 9 enjoyed a much to quick trip to DC. This home provided a nice place to stay. We felt very DCey in this cute row house. The bedrooms are very comfortable. If you happen to have to sleep on the pullout bed or blowup bed… well, you know. The kitchen is well appointed. We weren’t lacking for anything. WiFi was strong. James is a great communicator. I got to meet him and he’s a very nice guy. Thanks James!

We had a great time visiting. We came to town for sightseeing and a baseball game with myself, my spouse and elementary age kids. We had a great time! Property was clean and had everything we needed. James was very responsive and even provided a last minute dog crate we needed for our dog. We couldn’t have enjoyed it more!

A great place and host/owner
The home was clean, comfortable, and well equipped. Our party of four thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would stay in this home again. Of special note - the host/owner James had to cancel the last night of our five-night stay. I have stayed at dozens of VRBO homes and James was one of the best hosts we've dealt with. He was very apologetic and made things right by offering us a refund for the canceled night plus an additional amount so we could easily move to another accommodation. I wish all hosts were as good as James when a small problem occurs. He was also helpful in recommending sights and directions. Thanks James!

Washington DC trip
The house itself was great!! Nicely decorated!! We had plenty of space with the 4 of us; my husband and myself and 2 of our teenage grandsons. The kids could each have their own bedroom. All the amenities, including a washer and dryer with soap, are there except for the ability to watch live TV. There are 2 TV’s in the house with one in the living room and 1 in the family room. We were able to get live TV as my one grandson brought his X-box game and had u-tube on it. Otherwise there are some videos and there is a fire stick so you could watch some movies and shows. But you can’t get live TV so can’t get nightly news etc. Also no TV’s in any of the bedrooms and that would have been nice. We mostly were out touring so I guess a TV in the bedroom isn’t all that necessary. Just would have been nice to watch some live and weekly shows some nights after we came home from our touring for relaxation. Cable TV would have been nice. Getting to the heart of Washington DC was easy with Uber. It was about a 15 minute trip or less. I’m not sure of public transportation to and from downtown as the first night we got there we wanted to find a grocery store so we found one roughly a little more than a mile away and set out to go there. In about 2 blocks from the home the area started to scare us us and upon driving further there were several police cars on corners and that didn’t look like an area we should be in. So we turned around and went back to the house. The next day we went to an area in Virginia recommended by our nephew who used to live in DC. I’m not sure where some of the locals shop for their groceries. I guess we could have asked the owner as he was always very prompt in answering our calls with questions, but we were going to our nephews anyway that next night after our arrival so we could shop there. The other perfect thing was the parking place we had in the back of the house as we had our car. Never had to worry about finding a spot to park. That was awesome!!! So to summarize; the area a couple blocks from the house seemed like somewhere we wouldn’t want to be, but the area the house was in was fine. We were not scared at all there. Seemed like nice people around there. Location is great to get to downtown Dc ok by Uber anyway. I don’t know about other public transportation. The owner is very nice. I wound stay here again if I came back to DC.
