The food mecca that is Union Market is also within walking distance, not to be missed! Also there's some great shopping opportunities with lots of new pop-up stores around the entrepreneurial Union Market scene, REI's flagship store and all the shopping inside Union Station. No need for a car, you can walk or metro to everything. Nearby Uber and Lyft rides are plentiful (and we provide coupon codes for both services) as well as Capital Bikeshares / Jump (Uber's scooter and bike service) surrounding the neighborhood - bike the monuments for a cinematic experience unlike any other!
