Parking Guide
There is plenty of street parking in the area. If you plan on parking your car, please be sure to let us know prior to your stay so that we can provide a parking pass for you as needed. The parking pass will allow you to park in areas designated Zone 1, which covers a large area in Northwest DC. We are in the heart of the city so be smart and do not leave valuables or other items in the car. During the weekends, a parking pass is not needed. The parking can be a bit tricky so here are the general guidelines for parking.
As you are coming down Harvard Street, you cannot park on the RIGHT side of the street during rush hours (7 AM-9:30 AM and 4 PM - 6:30 PM). This does not apply on the weekends or holidays. The below guidelines are for when you are provided a parking pass. Outside of the dates listed below (Mar. 1-Oct. 31), it is generally recommended to park on left side of Harvard St. NW. with the pass.
Monday - Park on the RIGHT side of Harvard St. (ONLY from from March 1- October 31). From Mar. 1-Oct. 31, DC does street cleanings, so you cannot park on the LEFT side of Harvard St. until after 7 PM . If staying on a Monday evening, be sure to move your car to the LEFT side of Harvard St by 7 AM on Tuesday morning to avoid a ticket.
Tuesday - After 7 AM, park on the LEFT side of Harvard St. NW. From March 1- October 1, DC does street cleanings, so you cannot park on the RIGHT side of Harvard St.
Wednesday - Park on the LEFT side of Harvard St.
Thursday - Park on the LEFT side of Harvard St.
Friday - Park on the LEFT side of Harvard St.
Saturday, Sunday - You can park on either side of Harvard St.
If Harvard St. is full or no parking is available, you can make two rights (first right on Harvard, then immediately next right on Gresham Ave.), there will be plenty of parking on either side of the street. There is also other parking in the area marked Zone 1.
As always, if you have any questions about parking, please let us know. It might seem confusing at first, but generally is very easy as we park our cars on the street as well and have not had any issues.
