First the positives-
Clean, nicely furnished, full kitchen, nespresso coffee nice selection, lots of linens and towels. Very comfortable.
Neutral -
Bed pillows pretty soft, not to our liking. TVs are mounted strange. Living room TV must be 7 or 8 feet high. Hard to watch unless in the one recliner and leaning way back. Not good for other viewing positions on the couch. Bedroom TV also mounted quite a bit higher than "normal."
Bad -
This was so aggravating and dissapointing, it colors the whole review. We could not get into the unit. Knew there was an app for the electronic lock. Had already downloaded. When we got to unit, needed a code, which was not sent until we had already been there for 30 minutes or so. The lock app needs to connect to another home away app, which I did not have and had to set up an account. VRBO blocks the name of that app so messages to me had blanks which made it hard to sort out. After had all apps installed and accounts set up, the lock app and other rental app could not talk to each other. Contacted owner after trying for probably 1 1/2 hours will no luck. They got back to me while we were at dinner, and gave me direct access to the lock without having to go through multiple apps. Worked without any issues. After traveling for close to 12 hours, wasting 1 1/2 - 2 hours to gain access is unacceptable. From other reviews, this may not have been the first time a guest had issues with entry.
On balance, I like the unit and the location, and assuming the owner would rent to me again after this review, I would stay again. Next time, I would insist on been set up directly on the lock app,. and not have to go through any other app.
