This QUIET gorgeous, newly renovated find with designer touches is perfect for your D.C. stay. With an unbeatable “walkscore” of 99, the apartment is super close to the Monuments, Museums, Mall, and White House (approx. 10 minutes by car). For those who prefer the metro, the nearest station (U Street) is very close — less than a 5-minute walk! If you're here for business or vacation, there's no better spot if you want a cozy and quite space.

Located in the trendy Shaw neighborhood, the apartment occupies the entire lower level of one of D.C.'s fabulous historic row homes on a tree-lined street. Our beautiful one-bedroom, air-conditioned apartment is ideal for single travelers, couples, or small families on vacation hoping to check D.C. off their bucket list!

Great stay at good price!
Stayed for a week to see the sights around DC. The apartment was clean, quiet, and close to Trader Joe's, restaurants, and the best coffee we've had on a trip (the Coffee Bar is just a short walk away). Was a very pleasant stay!

Wonderful property within walking distance to Capitol Hill. Communication with property owners was outstanding. They reserved the parking spot for us right in front of the building. Place was super nice and clean. Would definitely recommend anyone staying there.

We enjoyed the lower level apartment immensely … five minute walk (if that) to the metro station … both bed and sofa bed were comfortable and the kitchen was very nice … close walk to Trader Joe’s for fridge stocking … bathroom and shower both clean and nice … We did have a slight issue with millipedes (slow crawling insects about an inch or so long) … we would see four to five a day making their slow trek across the floors but we left them alone and they left us alone :) … we just had to be mindful of where we were stepping at times … We would stay here again in a heartbeat and would highly recommend the place to anyone needing a spot to stay in Washing DC :)

Relaxed Stay in DC
The property is very nice and clean. It is located in a nice, safe and friendly neighbourhood with plenty of options for restaurants at 14th street. We have enjoyed a lot and would certainly recommend to stay here as a family of up to 4 persons.

Great spot from which to explore DC!
The apartment was perfect for our needs. It was clean, spacious and in a great part of the city. We were able to walk or take public transportation to monuments, museums and the zoo. Charlotte gave us great advise on making those necessary reservations. Communication about the reservation were timely and professional. Stay here!

Great spot close to the metro
We enjoyed our DC trip immensely. This apartment is only a three minute walk to the U Street Metro stop on the green line, making it very convenient for getting around the city. The apartment was exactly as advertised and had everything we needed. We had some trouble with adjusting the heat, but received a prompt response and assistance from the host.

Great getaway
We had great interaction with the host before ever getting to the property. It was perfect size for the 2 of us. Nice kitchen so we were able to DoorDash groceries and cook most meals at home. Nice little place. Alarm system added peace of mind since unfamiliar with the area.

Wonderful apartment in Shaw district
The apartment is very comfortable, charming, and commodious. My adult son and I stayed here - I gave him the bedroom and I slept on the couch which was very comfortable. I was especially impressed with the well-stocked kitchen- all the basics are there in addition to top-notch cooking ware. I would use this venue again in a heartbeat!

Cute place and great neighborhood!
The place looked like the photos, was very cute. Trader Joe's and other grocery shopping a few blocks away, so are many places to dine. Super cute area. Was a little hard getting Ubers on time, recommend scheduling in advance if going that route. Metro is also close! Was worried it may be far for a couple of my meetings (in Virginia) but the longest commute I had was 25 minutes.

This location is super close to the Metro!
This location is literally right around the corner from a metro station which made it very convenient to get around DC to see the sights. The unit was clean, exactly as pictured, and I’ll details about check in & check out or communicated effectively. The full kitchen was so nice to have to make our own breakfast before heading out for the day. Top-end appliances and pots pans, etc. The bed was very comfortable too!!!
