We had contacted the property directly about having a service dog. Upon arrival, we told the manager at check in again that we had a service dog. He said that he would have to change our room because we have a dog. He said that he would have to do this because people may have dog allergies could rent the room after our stay. We assured him that our miniature schnauzer was a hypo allergic dog. He replied that the room we originally had booked was recently renovated and he wasn't going to deep clean it after we left because we had a dog in our room. So he gave us a room on the opposite wing that he assured us wasn't a dog room, however by the dog hair on the baseboards, it had indeed been a dog room. We had warm water in the tub/shower but excellent hot water at the vanity sink. We called the front desk and the manager came to our room and said that was like that in the whole hotel. We asked to check the water temperature in another room, and he said 110 percent all the rooms have the same water temperature in the tub/shower. He said that it was because of the pipe size. Being a professional plumber, I told him that had nothing to do with the water temperature and that the temperature of the water at the vanity should be the same as the tub/shower. I told him that the shower valve cartridge needed replaced. He told me that because of the Christmas holiday he couldn't get a plumber out to look into it.
