Was clean and staff were friendly. But was $12.00 per day for a continental breakfast if we wanted it and were charged for a cup of coffee or tea. Never have I ever had to do that. Also room was a little small with no significant table. That may have been because it was a package deal with flight. Not sure.

The shuttle picks up & drops off every 1/2 hour. You can take the blue or yellow line from DCA. This Holiday Inn has a good resteraunt called O'Malleys which has good food and drinks. They open at 4pm. I never tried the breakfast resteraunt called Fresh kitchen. They clised at 11am. Rooms were nice. Pillows were firm (2) and soft (2). Bed was firm with pillowtop matress style. I would stay here again. Microwave & fridge came in handy.

The room was not properly stocked. The Kleenex box was empty so I threw the empty box in the trash. The shower gel was empty. The fire alarm woke us up one evening. One night 8-10 teenagers were in the room across from us and get us up all night slamming doors and being loud.

Lobby area needed some cleaning (some spots had crackers and crumbs in front of an arm chair that wasn’t dealt with). At one point, none of the three elevators were working. When I checked out at 3:00 am, the employee was wearing his motorcycle leather jacket - didn’t look very professional and said he could not give me a receipt because I booked via Expedia until I insisted. Overall, the only positive thing was proximity to DCA.
