Great location
I would happily stay here again. It’s right across from the train station and a short walk to the capitol building. There are scooters and bikes always on the corner to rent. The staff at the hotel is great and to top it off, the bar attached to the hotel is a bar that locals hang at, so you get to meet people from the area.

Excellent Stay in Washington DC
Conveniently located within walking distance to main attractions and a just a block away from a Metro station to easily access other main attractions. Property was well maintained, and staff was extremely friendly. The Dubliner Bar & Grill located on the ground floor had excellent food and drinks, making it easy to grab breakfast before heading out for the day or relaxing at the days end with dinner and drinks.

Very nice Place
We enjoyed our stay at the Phoenix Park Hotel. Right by Union Station was nice and close to the Capitol. We walked to most everything. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Would stay there again.

Overall, very nice and comfortable. We were unable to control the thermostat, however, and our room stayed pretty warm. Hopefully, that works better in the hotter parts of the year!

My husband and I wanted central location when visiting DC. We flew in, took the subway which was a block away from the listing. We walked to many of the locations we wanted to visit. The room was clean and comfy and the front desk was very welcoming and helpful. We enjoyed the Dublaner for several meals.

Beautiful hotel in a great location
This beautiful hotel is well located and has a fantastic Irish pub on the first floor with a top notch selection of beers and cocktails, not to mention a friendly staff. Guests of the hotel have the use of a coffee and tea bar 24 hours a day, which is located in the second floor lounge. The rooms are a bit outdated, such as the floor rug and other little details. All in all, i highly recommended this hotel.

Beautiful property in a great location
We stayed 10 days to visit Smithsonian museums. Great service, friendly people, and location super convenient. One block from Union Station and the Circulator stop. We walked and took the Circulator to most museums, the capitol, and the White House. We were well treated. Enjoyed the bar, too.

Very comfortable bed. Super clean and stylish room. Appreciated the complimentary ear plugs for the live music in the pub below, eventhough so didn’t need them. Easy electric scooter ride to anywhere I wanted to go.

Highly Recommend!
Check-in was a breeze and the hotel was lovely, including the awesome coffee/espresso machine on the 2nd floor. Location is great for public transportation as Union Station is only one block away. There are not many restaurants in the near vacinity exept in Union Station which does not stay open late. Onsite restaurant is ok, did get 2/2 of our orders wrong.

Really nice place to stay.. VERY comfortable bed, nice shower head, great coffee machine/sitting area for hotel guests and a small but “gets the job done gym” downstairs. The location is close to the Capitol building and is a short walk or Uber ride to restaurants, shops and tourist attractions. The Dubliner is the restaurant attached to the hotel and had really good food with a nice patio!

Great Hotel in heart of Washington DC
What a deal for the Phoenix Park Hotel thru Vrbo.. I am not sure how I lucked out, but the cost was half off with Vrbo vs. the hotel's own website. Just down the street from the US Capitol, across from Union Station, easy access to Metro and buses, walking distance to soany things ... AND the world famous Dubliner Irish Pub is part of the building. Would stay here again in a heartbeat..it's also a designated Historic Small Hotel.
