Parking was good, ample street parking. Neighborhood was kind of sketchy. Went out to do some shopping and came back to two men just hanging around out front. There was also large boot prints on the Stairs and front landing so I’m not sure what they had been up to while we were out. I didn’t feel safe there. The bathroom had no curtain or blind in window, so I used a towel for privacy. The heating in common areas was almost non existent. The rooms were warm but hall, kitchen, living room, dining etc. had low heat so wasn’t warm at all in those areas. In the summer, I imagine it’ll be hot everywhere and nice and cool in the bedrooms. Bathroom toilet hadn’t been cleaned, specifically under the seat, tub wasn’t clean, lots of hair everywhere, even on the wall, microwave was dirty- crumbs and such, drain in the sink had some food in it. And the house was filled with half used items as if someone just left for the weekend so we could occupy the space. The sheets and pillowcase did not smell clean. It smelled like hair that needed to be washed so I wasn’t happy about that. There is a laundry downstairs according to the note left, but I didn’t come there to have to clean and wash linen. So I tried to cover things as best I could. The sugar was 3/4 empty and just sitting open in the cabinet, there was no plastic cups for a child to use so my 3 year old drank from wine glasses until I ended up finding a bag of disposable cups with like 4 cups left. Back yard creeped me out since the yard next door was being used as a landfill. For what we needed, it sufficed but won’t be getting saved to my fav list anytime soon. With some cleaning improvements- it might not be bad to stay again. The wifi, parking, and size of the place was nice. Front and back door lights work and I did like the bar gated doors that could be locked in addition to locking front & back doors. Windows were all locked as well so that was good too. Overall, I’d give it a 2.5 out of 5.
