Welcome to this clean, sunny 1-bedroom apartment on the 2nd floor of a charming 4-unit building—no English basement here! Enjoy 750 square feet of bright, stylish living space with all-new appliances, washer/dryer, and a full kitchen.

Step right out from the kitchen onto your newly built deck—perfect for morning coffee or evening drinks. The fenced backyard offers added privacy and features a fire pit and BBQ grill, making it ideal for relaxing or entertaining.

Inside, you’ll find a queen bed with a brand-new Nectar mattress in the separate bedroom, plus a queen-size pull-out sofa with a 3” memory foam topper in the living room. A high-quality queen air mattress (with fresh linens and pillows) is also available for extra guests. The apartment comfortably sleeps up to 4 adults.

Enjoy streaming on the 55” smart TV with fast Wi-Fi. The spacious walk-in shower features a built-in bench, a rainfall air-injected showerhead, and a stained-glass skylight—a true spa-like experience.

The apartment is spectacular! It was a great place to have as a home base for a few days while we stayed in DC. The neighbourhood was nice and it was easy to access all the areas we wished to explore from there. The hosts were very responsive and accommodating.

Great place, wonderful hosts.

The property description is accurate. The photos are current. We have stayed previously, during the winter. The warmer months really give the place an opportunity to shine. There are beautiful rose bushes in the front yard, complementing the English garden. The back deck was also in full bloom with colorful plantings. The back yard looks great as well. The interior was also fresh and inviting. The hosts are very gracious. Making check in and check out stress free. They are considerate in stocking the home with amenities. The hosts were quick to respond to any inquiries. They truly make you feel as a guest. We would definitely stay again.

Great spot in Capital Hill

I was there for business meetings and a conference. Had a good nights rest and woke up to lots of great coffee options. The home was clean and welcoming. Wish I could have stayed longer and enjoyed the terrace out back. Great owners who were helpful and responsive.

Great place to stay and easy access by transit to downtown

This was a great residential area to stay for a week in Washington. The bus was an easy two blocks away and easily accessed all of the main attractions. The host was on site and if we needed anything he was quick to meet all our needs. The apartment was clean with a nice big stove and refrigerator as well as a propane barbecue on the deck. My only recommendation would be that the sidewalk in front of the house is cleaned up. Not part of the property but does not give a good impression when you first arrive. The stairs to the second floor are steep so not for folks with mobility issues. Otherwise I would highly recommend staying here if you want a homelike environment while visiting the capital.

Great location in D.C.

This property is located on a residential street, in the heart of the city. The neighborhood is active and vibrant. We were able to walk to the National Mall as well as shops and restaurants. The apartment is brightly decorated, and feels spacious. The bed is very comfortable. A spa experience best describes the bathroom. The outdoor space has a large deck and charming back yard. We would definitely return for a future stay.

The apartment is quaint and spacious with easy on street parking and wonderful amenities. It is in a safe neighborhood and was our 2nd time renting it. We dis find two cockroaches during our stay. Perfect for us.

I brought my teenage boys to DC to sightsee. This place was the perfect fit. Not quite close enough to walk to downtown but we used Lyft and our own vehicle and got to see and experience everything. The apartment had everything we needed. Not just the TV, there are board games and books to entertain as well. Two AC's kept the 102° weather at bay so we were always comfortable. John is a great host and Raina was right there when we checked in to let us know she would get us anything we might need. Then we just had our privacy which was very cool. I absolutely recommend this apartment.

Excellent communication/ accommodating for ASD

John was a super host, and extremely responsive before and during our stay. He went out of his way to make the apt accommodatimg for our asd son, and to let the neighbors know that it may not be "as quiet" as usual due to this special circumstance. This communication made me feel at ease as a parent and inclusion for our son. There was a slight mix up with sheets/towels; however, John took care of it promptly. Parking pass was much appreciated for as soon as we parked for the first day, city worker was out checking cars! Now BEWARE..this parking pass doesn’t work downtown/at capitol area as we soon figured out. A 25$ ticket later for parking w/o a pass, made for one mad moment in the day that we thought was handled by the org. parking pass. Also, driving is a nightmare (we are from a metropolitan city and expected this), so give yourselves plenty of time to get to your destination. We ended up utilizing the metro system a great deal during our stay, which was a 16 min walk from the apt each way. (Sux when it rained every other day!)(but memories were made for sure). We also utilized the pay as you go scooters and bikes (make sure you read redocking rules carefully!). The area of the apt appeared to be very safe and we had no issues walking, biking, driving, etc. Couches and pull out bed weren't the most comfortable. Master bed was very comforting. I would definitely recommend John's apt for location and overall communication with guests.

Friendly caretaker and responsive. Uber friendly but not Metro friendly.
