The host had a fire going for us when we arrived and the cabin was peak coziness! As other reviews mentioned the hosts house is right there but it still felt private. Thanks for a great stay! "

"We stayed here for a group family vacation with some friends. The property was beautiful and incredibly clean. Clean enough for two newly mobile infants to crawl around without too much worry! The host was very accommodating and we loved the cabin. It was perfect for a group. The lake is gorgeous! A perfect getaway"

"Fabulous location within a 2 minute walk to lake for swimming and other water activities. 5 minute drive to quaint downtown Sunapee and 5 minutes to Sunapee mountain! We were in the area for a wedding and our family of 6 fit comfortably into the cozy cabin with an expansive screen porch and comfortable couch seating for all. "The house is rather rustic and unfinished, there are construction debris and materials scattered about the property. There are no door mats in case of rain, there were only four towels provided for a six-night stay, the running water in the house smelled like sulfur, bare light bulbs in fixtures, moldy shower curtain, high humidity made staying in the house and sleeping very uncomfortable, the surface of the dining island was contact paper, fire pit broken, abandoned property right next door in...

Lovely wooded trails to hike, a hot tub to relax in at night, well equipped kitchen and a comfortable bed with a bay window to catch the first morning light. "We stayed in this really nice cabin for 3 days and it was great. The cabin looks relatively new, so everything was pristine. The bedrooms were comfortable and a good size. The kitchen was stocked well and very functional. We really enjoyed the game room above the garage. The location was great. The neighborhood was quiet and lovely. It's very close to the southern end of Lake and Mt. Sunapee, so lots of outdoor activities. This would be a place we would return to."

"The house was super convenient to Mount Sunapee and Newport is a really nice town. There were two families staying at the house with kids ranging from 11 years old to 1 year old. Everyone was very comfortable and we all had a lot of fun. I highly recommend staying there."

"This was a perfect place to stay with several coworkers, as we conducted research on a nearby lake. Straightforward check-in and plenty of space for us to spread out. It is down a long dirt road (which is in great condition - very smooth and fine for all types of vehicles in summer), so feels quite remote despite having plenty of neighbors nearby. Quiet and comfy."

"My adult family spent another great week at Birch Cabin. Everything we needed was right there and we were able to enjoy a relaxing week. The addition of air conditioners in all the bedrooms was a nice bonus this year. Everyone slept comfortably.
