"Everything about the hotel is great. Only weird bit was having to enter all my details to do the booking and then getting a check in email to enter them all again. In 2024 it is odd getting an email to ask me for my email address. I guess this is an issue with linking to Expedia but surely by now ..."

"Family catch up. Great location. Hotel needs some work looks very tired in places especially the carpets. Hallways smelly. Bar area smelly. Rooms good size, beds lovely and comfy. Private Christmas meal for family was lovely today. Good service and good food. Best part of stay."

Mini weekend break
"Had a lovely relaxing break with my partner and another couple. We stayed Friday-Sunday. Lodge was beautiful and clean. Hot tub was excellent and got cleaned whilst we were there. Excellent communication with the owner. Would definitely recommend a stay here."

"A lovely spot by the duck pond and very peaceful, the lodge was lovely and clean and couldnt of asked for a better stay. We really enjoyed the hot tub, feeding the ducks and an autumnal bbq.
