Great Get-away!
Our family had a wonderful stay at this cabin. There was enough space for us to spread out and to come together. The cabin was clean and comfortable and working with Kevin was a great to work with. Highly recommend you book a stay here!

Great side by side trip
Kevin was very professional, quick to get back to us with any questions. The chalet was very clean, private and had amazing views with a great location, and had everything you needed to cook or grill. Kevin also had a binder set up with everything to do with in a 60 mile radius which was great. We will definitely stay there again. It was great and Kevin is a great host.

Lovely Labor Day weekend!
We had a lovely Labor Day weekend with family! Cabin was cozy with a spectacular view! We did day trips to Meyers Beach for kayaking and swimming and enjoyed the cabin very much. Thank you!

Great weekend getaway
Our trip/ stay was wonderful! The cabin was clean and the host was very quick to reply to any of our questions or needs. We loved sitting in the loft looking over the tree line in the morning with our coffee. The fireplace was a wonderful area to sit and warm up after snowmobiling all day. ATV & Snowmobile trails are right there and a great restaurant with a bar. Couldn't have asked for a better place to stay!

Beautiful cabin and property. Great check-in and communication with Kevin the owner. Our dog sledding plans were cancelled due to weather conditions. Kevin was very helpful in offering suggestions for other weekend area activities. The cabin was as pictured, very clean, and offered spectacular views! We recommend this cabin to others.

Women's weekend to revitalize
An intended snowshoe weekend that ended up with no snow! We couldn't have had more fun. The houes was perfect with lots of room for games and laughter! We hiked locally and relaxed in front of the fire. Fully stocked kitchen, hot showers and very clean all around. Close acess to trails makes this a definite future visit.

Beautiful views
Pretty views of the surrounding area, nice bar and restaurant down at the base of the hill. Interior is nice but a little dated, nice amenities. But wow, just the worst smell of sewage/mold from the laundry room that wasn’t mentioned until after check in was difficult to stomach at this price point. By the second day we were able to mitigate it but really ruined the experience.

We visited the area for a long weekend away. We loved the location because if it being centrally located between the two places we planed to visit. There was a sweet bar/restaurant at the bottom of the hill…. that was a fun bonus. Upon arrival, there was a unusual odor, but went away as we opened the doors and windows. We brought this to their attention and they plan to take care of it. The house was stocked with plenty of towels, kitchen supplies and so on. The place was spotless! We had a great time on the deck that had a beautiful view! I would definitely go again when in the area!

Road trip vacation throughout Great North Woods
This place is exceptional. Most of our accommodation and lodging on our 3-Week Great Lakes road trip was situated right on the water. Before booking, we were unsure about securing lodging in the hills and woods. MAN, DID WE MAKE THE RIGHT DECISION TO STAY AT CABIN IN THE HILLS. The views are spectacular. The proximity to Bayfield and area restaurants is only a 15-minute drive. The home itself is utterly perfect: 3-levels, multiple bedrooms, gorgeous stone hearth fireplace, amazing balcony with stunning view. The facility was well appointed. We LOVED having a full kitchen and cooking a few meals with locally grown food. I consider my experience at Cabin in the Hills in the top 1% of all of my lodging / accommodations in the context of family road trip type of travel. Highly, highly recommend!

Expansive cabin with great vista
Great cabin located within the Valhalla rec area walking distance from the Valhalla Pub n Grub. The host Kevin was very responsive and helpful during out stay. The master bedroom is very large with 2 balconies with views and an office area. The basement has a pool table, bathroom and wood burning stove. The main level has plenty of room to move around and the stone fireplace cranks out heat. No TV on main level but there is one in the basement. If you want to hang out in the basement I recommend starting a fire because the basement was cold and somewhat drafty. The only other knock would be the hill getting up to the house. It's a steep hill and gets icy during the winter. No way to get a loaded 4 place snowmobile trailer up the road period. Off load at Pub n Grub and then head up to the cabin. Overall a great place with a great host. I would definitely stay here again.

I would 100% recommend staying here for larger groups! Very accommodating, clean and had everything we needed for a group of 7. About a 25 min drive to Bayfield to enjoy everything the area has to offer. We'll be back!

Perfect for 8 of us (4 couples with the “youngsters” splitting the trundle). Communication with owner was great and although we needed nothing, I feel anything we would have needed would have been taken care of. Views are amazing.

This place was built for the views! Really could t believe you could see so far and only see nature. Close to Bayfield and Cornucopia. Plenty of room with a great fire pit and hot tub. Perfect!

We liked this house. Would stay again. Nice location for doing a variety of activities in Northern Wi. Nice hot tub, pool table, and darts. Works well for a group. Host very responsive.

We really enjoyed the property. It has a lot of privacy and good yard where the kids could play safely. It was very clean and the pictures show exactly what you see when you are in the house. Bathroom has good water pressure and they are convenient. The bathroom upstairs does not have a shower just a tub. The kitchen very well equipped with all you can need. The communication with Kevin was great. Fantastic overall

Scenic Valley Hideaway
Very nice house that easily accommodated our large family comfortably. Absolutely beautiful views from the deck! We had many activities in Bayfield and found the short drive easy and quick.
