"Very clean for the price. Very nice, accommodating staff. No strange smells in the room or in the bed which is really nice, usually booking via 3rd party apps gets you the crappy rooms but all the appliances worked well, there were toiletries and clean linens in the bathroom. Not sure about breakfast or where it would have been since I missed it."

"We've stayed at this property twice and hope to return. We were just there in the fall and the leaves are exceptional. We were there in the winter and driving along the Mississippi, there were lots of eagles along the shore. The views from the house of the Mississippi and Keokuk, Iowa, on the other side of the river are wonderful, particularly the lights of the city at night. There was more than enough space for our family of five. It's remote enough that there aren't neighbors within sight, but...

"This was the best place to stay! There was a lot of room and a restaurant downstairs! We could easily walk to shops and the Temple was visible from the window. I read up on the history of the place and it used to be a hotel. I could see that layout in the bedrooms and locations of the bathrooms. It was so fun to stay here. We were here for 5 nights and would do it again. The host was very communicative and helpful. There were 7 adults and 2 children in our group."
