"We loved this property and enjoyed every aspect of it. The house, the location, the lake and all the amenities. We plan to visit again sometime in the future. The fishing was great! A few minor things. The upper A/C. I cleaned the filter it was pretty dirty. It is also extremely loud (it really rattles) I believe to not being shimmed level. In the upper bathroom I cleaned the shower head a lot of holes were clogged. The upper fan speed can not be adjusted due to pull string being gone. ...

"The cabin worked for a home base for us, but it was not what was pictured...not even close!! outside was nothing like the picture, cabin looked older. Upon arrival, kitchen sink was dirty, stove had obviously had something hot spilled on knobs that were melted and grimy, stove had no propane, we had to switch the tank over (they did refill it), they provide the charchoal grill as listed, but no utensils. "A very cute and cosy log cabin on the shores of Shipshewana Lake. We celebrated 2 - 70th birthdays and 1 - 50 year anniversary this weekend and enjoyed the cosy ‘feel’ of the cabin whenever we were there. Enjoyed the Lights of Joy drive thru. Beautiful. "

"Adorable little place steps from the water. Enjoyed our 2 night stay here while we attended the PBR at the MEC center. Was afraid the traffic would be bad, as it coincided with the lighting of the Christmas lights, but we left before they blocked off the main drag & sailed right thru. "My friends (6 adults males) stayed at the location and enjoyed it very much. The host provided pretty much everything we needed. Good AC. Fair amount of cooking supplies. We enjoy the location as there are two bar/restaurants in walking distance and there are multiple lakes connected here and a bigger one if you feel like going 7 miles. The only pause is that for adults the location really sleeps 5 unless you can get two adults/kids on a double bed."
