"This was just what I needed!! A couple of days out in nature with my dog. It's a lovely place! Very quiet and peaceful! The only thing I used my phone for was to take pictures. I had one day with beautiful snow and the next it was 60 degrees. It was a little strange they didn't have a microwave but they provide everything else you would need to cook your meals. "

"Enjoyed the stay over all. Well furnished and well stocked with cooking items. The boat house at end of quiet cove was great for watching wildlife - deer, bald eagles, white pelicans, Canadian geese and of course jumping bass 😁. The only issue we had with the property was lack of task lighting (bedside lamps) and the lack of back deck to enjoy a morning of watching wildlife while drinking our morning coffee. "

"The resort is very nice. Our cabin’s upstairs bedrooms were a little warm at night ( it was in the mid 90s on two days we were there); may require separate units for upstairs and downstairs. The kids loved the pools and fishing off the dock. We had an incident with teenagers who weren’t supposed to be at the pool. But management handled that. The restaurant/bar food was good. Overall we enjoyed our stay. "

"The propery was very nice. The rooms were great and we loved that there were fans and AC units in all the rooms. The area was decently quiet. We spent most of our time on the screened porch for meals and just hanging out. Love that it was pet friendly and that we could bring our dogs"

"Darnel did an excellent job with communication and answered every question quickly by text or call. Truly above and beyond. Our stay was adventurous and relaxing. A very nice getaway from KC. "The house had a homey feel, and we really enjoyed the lakefront property. The highlights for us were the screen porch and the fishing (kids caught bass and crappie every day). The kitchen is small but was still sufficient for our family; however, the stovetop burners didn’t heat very well and the pots/pans were subpar. Overall, we had a good trip and enjoyed our stay; the only reason we didn’t give it 5 stars is because it wasn’t as clean as we expected (dog hair and dust on the wood floors)."
