Cozy Sunset Beach Cottage By Lake and Ocean, Peaceful Setting *Wi-Fi*

This house is in a perfect location. It is literally steps away from Lake Neacoxie. It is a short 1/4 mile walk to Sunset Beach. This beach is great because you can drive on beach is also know for it's amazing clamming season. So much fun for adults and the kids. Seaside is 8 miles down the road, or the other direction is Astoria, which has the best Saturday Market and amazing shopping.

The house was built in 1940, and has been renovated. We have a family of 4, and usually bring another couple. It seems to be the perfect size. My family and I love going there to re plug into each other. It works every time!

We love our home, and hope you get the same enjoyment from it as we do!

Great location, so close to beach!
Cottage had everything we needed for a well deserved get away. Loved the location and we were very comfortable staying there. One exception was the pillows on the beds we used definitely need to be replaced. They are old&stained. Otherwise this was perfect!

Great little cottage in an awesome location!
Stayed 3 nights at this property and we all loved it! Beds were comfortable, lots of space and house is well-stocked. Theres a little park down the road that my 9 year old played at. Beach acess was wonderful and just a short drive (could have walked but didnt) down the road. Would stay again!

House between the lake and ocean
Its a great place to stay especially if tou like to be around water like I do. Its close to everything and walking distance to the beach and lake. We loved being able to cook and do laundry. They had everything we needed. We would definitely stay there again.

Great family stay!
We loved this cute cottage! It’s way bigger than it looks from the front! The set up was great and the kids loved the bunk room. The beach was an easy walk away and the neighborhood is nice. It is handy for everything and a great place to recuperate after a long day enjoying the area. Thanks for a great stay!

Simple Cottage
This home was perfect for a quick stay on the coast for our family to go clam digging. It was close to the beach access and there was a small restaurant and park within walking distance. The cottage itself was simple, but adequate for a short stay.

We had such a relaxing stay here. The beds were so comfortable and the bathroom is large! Most of all - I accidentally left behind a diamond necklace that the cleaning team secured and mailed back to me. We will be back!

Cozy and economical!
This was a cozy and clean cottage in a great location. Owner communication was great and he made some special accommodations for us, which we appreciated. We would recommend this to anyone looking for a sweet place to stay while exploring the Seaside/Astoria area.

Great area & adequate place
The neighborhood was nice and quiet. The kids enjoyed the park that is just up the road. The house was snug for 8 but we didn't need much for our quick trip. There was only 1 bathroom but at least there was 2 sinks to make getting ready faster for our family.

This cute little house has a lot of potential but needs some updates - new mattresses and living room sofa & chairs would make a huge difference in making this house more comfortable. Overall it was pretty clean but could use a new shower curtain liner ASAP! Good spot for a girls weekend. Good location and close to Sunset Beach.

Nice Stay
The place was easy to find and clean. It is very well stocked with any and everything you may need. The neighborhood was quiet and the beds were comfy. It does not have AC but a fan is there. The lock box is hars to open and close, that was the only thing we had trouble with. The owner gives great info and communications. We will say there again when in the area! Thanks for a nice stay! Easy Stay
Almost everything was there that we needed. Unfortunately, for our three night stay the cleaning people left us only one partial roll of toilet paper and just one towel in the kitchen. We made dinner and breakfast every day. Enjoyed the deer out back and walking trails close by. Plus, there’s a nice littke coffee/pastry/ive cream store short walk south on Lewis to the corner. We would stay again.

Exploring the North Coast.
We had a great time. Perfect location, between Seaside and Astoria. Everything was just as described. So nice to have a 'home' to come back to and relax, after a day of exploring. Kitchen set up nicely for cooking our meals. A lot of books, coloring stuff and games to keep the kids happy. Close to the beach, too. Ken was very responsive to any issues that came up. We really appreciated that. We will definitely stay here again if the opportunity arises. ~Sandi

Good location, could use some updates
The house was clean and had room for many guests and toys for kids. Location is good as you can walk to the beach and the nearby lake. Also there's a great bakery just down the street. Some of the bed linens (mattress pad, foam mattress topper in main bedroom) need to be replaced and some of the throw pillows need to be thrown. The couch has seen better days and is not very comfortable to sit on. We attended a wedding reception in Gearhart and it was an easy drive there.

Annual Trek to Sunset Beach
This was our fourth trip to this property. We love being close to a quiet beach but within easy proximity to both Astoria and Seaside. My kids also love the TV and DVD choices (we don't have a TV at home), and we always make use of the games closet. All this with a useable kitchen and access to a reasonably priced grocery store (Fred Meyer in Warrenton) make it a fun and affordable getaway for our family. -- Could use a new can opener though. The one in the kitchen seems to be on its last legs.

Great Experience
Everything was as described and pictured. It was comfortable and a good location for shopping and the things we like to do in the area. We had a problem with the satellite TV but I spoke with the owner and he had someone come to fix it within a few hours.

Nice place to stay
Overall this property provided most of the amenities and space we needed for a family of 4. It would be a great place to stay for a group focused on spending most of their time outside of the house. My wife was working during our stay there and remarked that the internet quality was not the greatest. I think they have DSL from the equipment they had there. She just used her hotspot, so it was an addressable issue. Might be something to either upgrade or have guests keep in mind if they need to work remotely during their stay.
