"The host was so accommodating. when we prolonged our check-in time due to too many sites on the way, like “The Smallest Catholic Church” in Warrenton, is must see! We were delightfully surprised in the property. It was perfect for our needs, on beautiful grounds, and close-in so it was convenient for an afternoon break. "

"We did the Wild Hare 10k for the first time and had originally planned on staying at the large cabin at Bastrop State Park, but unfortunately it was booked. Lucky for us, because this place is like having a state park all to yourself. There are numerous trails with lots of hills and gorgeous scenery. In addition, there are delightful statues and scenes all throughout the property. If you like photo opportunities, you will be ecstatic!!! "We loved the cabin!! It was so peaceful and quiet. The place was super clean and very well taken care of. I am a Texas history fan and I was truly blown away by all of the historical stuff around the house. This is a short drive from Houston. We will definitely stay here again when we need to get away from the city."

"The cottage was the perfect getaway spot with all the luxuries of life included. Very clean, well stocked and well maintained home that provided my husband and I and our friends relaxation and respite. I highly recommend this place if you’re in the area and I cannot wait to go back! "
