Very much enjoyed our stay. Exactly what one would expect from a getaway out in the country. The yard, fire pit, porch, and grill filled our weekend nicely. The living room is perfect for some rainy day board games.
We stayed for a couple nights. The home was wonderful, comfortable, clean and well stocked. The location was close to amenities and eats. Communication was also excellent. Should we ever find ourselves in the area again, we would definitely stay again.

Cozy, cute home
Warm, well equipped home for country get-away. Super hiking and skiing nearby!
We skied Loon, just 30 minutes from this cozy home. It met all of our needs and host was very accommodating. Wish we had more time here to explore the Warren area, will be back!
It basically rained the few days we were there, it was also quite a distance to any restaurants, there were two within 10 miles and both were closed 😔
House was decorated so nice, and owners were very pleasant and easy to reach/talk with
Lots LOTS of loud traffic on the very busy main road.
Beds were nice and comfortable, clean linens and towels (no washcloths?)
Refrigerator had a bad musty odor, there was a lot of mold in the rubber seal that could be culprit. Not sure I’d stay here again for a few reasons
We enjoyed our stay in this neat, nicely updated farm house. The owner and a neighbor where both very kind and responsive when we managed to lock ourselves out!
My only note is bring a baby gate for little ones to block the stairs and perhaps consider some safer kid proof storage for cleaning supplies. That said, the kids loved the yard and all it had to offer. Would definitely stay here again.
Farmhouse was well maintained and cozy. I enjoyed spending time in the living room watching a few movies on the large tv while it rained outside.
The window AC unit in the living room puts out a lot of cool air which was great considering how warm and humid it was outside. Upstairs can get a little warm but by running the window fan you can get it to a comfortable temp.
Overall it was a great stay and I enjoyed it here a lot. Area felt safe too.
This property was tremendous. For a person who has a hard time relaxing, it was the perfect place. You just want to go with the flow here. Such a good vibe. We will go back for our next vacation.
My daughter and I stayed at this VRBO in order to attend the 10th Anniversary celebrations at Tomten Farm & Sanctuary, located in Haverhill. We all very much enjoyed our stay - our black Lab adored the enormous yard (complete with flowing stream!) Drinking coffee out on the welcoming deck and listening to the early AM birdsong was another highlight. It was easy to find and had everything we needed (and more!). I can highly recommend this property and these hosts. :)
The house was clean and neat...it is an older property as mentioned in the description, so has some quirks, but overall was very comfortable.
The outside area was a highlight, we spent a lot of time on the porch and enjoyed having the river/creek along the back of the yard. The house is surrounded with trees and bushes (most covered in fruit), which helps make it feel private and cozy.
The owners were very easy to work with. They provided all necessary information ahead of time and we had no issues accessing or using any of the items at the house.
I was impressed with how they updated a 1935 home. Recessed lights. New cabinets that included a dishwasher. Owner left many things in the house for yard activities. Pet friendly. I would recommend to family and friends. Owner let me check out a few hours later, due to bridal brunch on Sunday.
We had a lovely stay at the farm house. The main floor was bright and inviting. The kids loved playing in the yard with all of the snow. What I loved most of all was the quiet, the view out the back yard is peaceful and the stars were so bright at night. The owners were incredibly responsive as I had several questions about snow activities in the area. My only constructive feedback is that the kitchen could use a flat spatula for flipping pancakes and a cookie sheet for roasting veggies. I had forgotten to bring toys for my kids and they were a little sad that there were not any there. But that was a mommy oversight. We spent the weekend cross country skiing in VT, which is just over the river, playing in the snow and cozying up with books and board games. It was a much needed break from the craziness of the work week. Thanks so much!!!
The property itself was absolutely amazing very roomy and gorgeous views of the mountains and other landscape. Sitting on the side deck or even in the backyard you could hear the brook running that is located in the back of the yard. It was very easy to get to and to access. The house is on a main road but barley any cars went by and most of it was during the day, but it was still very quiet even being close to the road. I had 3 kids with me all under 11 yrs old with the 3 yr old being the youngest and I never had a worry about the main road because of the fact there are hardly any cars driving down that road but the nice stone wall in front. Any issue, question or concern I had the owners always got back to me within 15-20 minutes. The house was also very well supplied that there was a lot I didn't need to bring that I did. They even supplied a foil turkey pan because we were there Thanksgiving week. The owners really went above and beyond and I absolutely can't wait to go back again!!! I will have to try it in the spring/summer time next!! The house is very welcoming and has a great homey feel to it!!
Simple getaway. My sister and I had a relaxing stay catching up and enjoying each other's company.
The property is quaint, the house charming with thoughtful touches to add comfort. The is spacious yard bringing visitors right to the river. Unfortunately due to the rocky banks and overgrown banks of the river we were not able to walk along the shore or in the woods. There were no apparent paths. The road was noisier and faster than expected. The speed limit is low but it didn't seem many drivers took note! The photo online is taken from the edge of the road; whereas I though it was taken from a field or extended dirt drive.
