Our fully off-grid cabin boasts a tranquil, private and peaceful getaway, with a small pocket of dry rain forest. It sits in the foothills of the Border Ranges overlooking the beautiful, picturesque, Warrazambil Creek. Sit on the deck, unwind and relax, listening to the sounds of the creek and birds.
For the more adventurous, use as a base to venture out and explore the nearby Border Ranges, local markets, walking tracks, scenic look-outs, drives and visit surrounding villages such as Nimbin.

Guest access
Just a simple 20min drive north of Kyogle in the Northern Rivers of NSW. Only 2 hours drive from Gold Coast Airport, 2:40 from Brisbane and 1:40 from Byron Bay.
This is a rural property. There is about 5km of good dirt road to get to the property. It is recommended that first time visitors arrive in daylight hours as it is pitch black at night with no mobile reception.
Guests can access the entire 10 acre property (apart from the shed). You are welcome to wander around the grassed areas and near the creek. However, we recommend you wear footwear as there are some Giant Stinger trees (which are a natural part of the rain forest eco system) that sometimes drop leaves.
Other things to note
There is a strict no party policy. Maximum number of guest allowed is 4. Security cameras have been installed at the front of the property to monitor the number of guests coming or going. Bookings will be cancelled if this policy is breached.
As this is a rural property we supply bug spray and coils. You may wish to bring a repellent of your choice.
The property runs on solar energy. The generator will automatically turn on/off as needed. We use tank water. All of the water goes through a sediment filter but only the cold water tap in the kitchen is filtered to make it suitable for cooking and drinking.
Warrazambil Creek water level is fairly shallow. Too low for swimming and the rocks are slippery but it is very beautiful!
Please don’t wander (or allow your dogs to wander) onto the surrounding properties or the driveway that goes up the hill between the properties.
