"It was soooooo delightful! The hosts are simply lovely and honestly, they make this place feel like home. Upon arrival I was greeted with a welcome bottle of bubbles and a charcuterie board. Had great ammenities and all the mod cons, with comfortable beds and close to many shops, Cafe, restaurants and Pubs this was the best opportion by far. "Loved it. So peaceful and quiet. Very private rooms, looking out onto green grass and trees - such a nice escape from the city. Absolutely loved our three course meal - food came hot, steak cooked to perfection, the prawns were so yummy that some of our plates were suspiciously clean at the end. I really like having a big wardrobe so I can hang up clothes and not live out of the case, and it was even big enough to put the case away - so that was good. Thanks for having us!"

"We enjoyed our stay at the Canal Home. Everything we needed was provided for. It was exceptionally clean and orderly. The location, surrounds and views were beautiful. The only disappointment was bringing your own sheets and towels. I can understand why this would be a requirement in regard to washing, workload and costs etc etc, but with the price we paid I thought it could have been included. $275 per night plus 150 cleaning fee.
