"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Shady Rest in Eufaula! We were only there for an overnight stay and wish that we could have stayed longer. The area and the house were very quiet - our sleep was awesome! We were traveling with dogs; they really enjoyed the calm, quiet neighborhood for their walk the following morning - we felt completely safe walking on the streets of the small community and were treated with a beautiful sunrise over the lake. The house was well-appointed and had everything we needed for our brief stay. I was particularly enchanted with the super cute washcloth display in the bathroom - I'm not sure why, but it made me smile to see so many washcloths arranged like art. The hosts were friendly, but fully respected our space and privacy. We will definitely stay here again if we have the chance."

"We stayed in the treehouse for a long weekend and really enjoyed our stay. It was clean, very quiet and nicely decorated/equipped. The views were beautiful from the bedroom, living and deck. We loved watching the squirrels hop from tree to tree. We used the fire pit both nights and grilled steaks on the propane grill on Saturday. We enjoyed our coffee by the indoor fireplace on cool mornings. I planned easy meals, prepped some ahead but the kitchenette was very well equipped. It was nice to have a larger fridge than expected. Overall—we would definitely return. I DO think the camp chairs are ready to be replaced. "
