"The lodge is a beautiful property. The people all seemed very friendly and helpful. We had a couple of issues. Our room was apparently directly below the bar, and the noise of voices and furniture moving was so loud we could hardly talk together. I don't suppose there's anything to be done about it, and it did end by 11 pm, somewhat past the bedtime of old folks like us. The other problem is squeaky door hinges. "We had a wonderful trip to Forge Lake Lodge. Home is one of a kind and the communication with the host was great. Views are incredible from the back deck. Navigating the last 2 miles of road before you reach the home can be intense but once you arrive its with it! "

"Awesome spot in the Blue Ridge, GA area. We had a group of 11 guys stay here for a reunion so this worked for us. The property is gigantic with lots of space to hang and roam. One issue we had was one side of the house was not cooling down as well as the rest of the house. The manager was responsive and had an A/C repair man come check it out the next day. "We had 7 people from 4 states for a family reunion. Great house for that with lots of indoor and outdoor spaces for different activities. Nice view of the lake, close to town and good grocery store for provisions. The house was immaculate when we got there. The kitchen was well equipped with plenty of cookware and other things. It had everything we needed. Highly recommended."
