"We stayed here while we were at a horse show at Poplar Place. The house was very cute and the area was nice. The neighborhood had lots of things for the kids to do. I would recommend updating a few of the finishing on the cabin but all in all it was a cute little place to stay."

"Stayed in a dog-friendly chalet for a weekend with husband and 2 small dogs. We visited Callaway Gardens, which is just a couple of miles away. Downtown Pine Mountain is also just a few minutes away with good local restaurants and a small grocery store. The chalet had a fireplace and the front office sells firewood, but only takes cash for the firewood. The chalet was roomy, but dated. Could have been cleaned better. Saw several cobwebs. Bedding appeared clean. Plenty of towels. Toiletries...

"Let me start by saying we ended up leaving after the first night. We got there and didn’t have entry info, couldn’t get in touch with anyone, and the sister(?) from next door ended up coming over to help us. Upon entry the floor was tore up and there was roach poop in all of the appliances and cabinets. We found one bed with rat poop and pee under the blanket. It says private but it’s not. I reached out to ask about a refund as we didn’t stay and have heard nothing back. Over 1500 bucks we will...

"This cute chalet was perfect for our early family christmas celebration and very close to both the Wild Animal Park and Callaway Garden's Festival in Lights. The property managers were so friendly and communicative and were sure we understood everything before our stay and when we arrived. Check-out was seamless. Thanks and we will be staying again!"

"Pine mountain chalets resort was a cute place to stay. HOWEVER this cabin was a dump. Needs a good thorough clean and revamp. Mattresses, appliances, blinds and bedding all need to be replaced. It needs some basic maintenance such as filling holes in walls and repainting. TVs were a joke. Couldn’t get dvd player to work. "Everything was great. The only issue was cobwebs were visible on blinds, bed frames and corners in bathroom and bedrooms. Also had to deal with cockroaches. We are good sports and went with it didn’t let it take away from the experience. Which we love. Hopefully this will be resolved fir the next family. We love coming to the Chalets and hope to come back. Such a great family experience."

"My mother and kids stayed with me, plus my 2 dogs. We played games on the enclosed porch, which was my favorite place. The beds were comfortable. The Rec center, where we played pool and ping pong, is very close to the chalet, as is the playground. We enjoyed area attractions like Pumpkins at Callaway, Wild animal Safari, and horseback riding at FDR state park. The weather was perfect. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The towels are the sandpaper type that are super small, so bring your own...

"The cabin was perfect for our large family gathering. Plenty of room for everyone - we never felt overcrowded. The cabin itself is old but charming and was very clean. Location is just 5 minutes from Callaway Gardens and within walking distance to a restaurant. "This was suppose to be a relaxing getaway with our pets. Check-in process was great. Mickey did her job well! Once we walked in to the chalet we were shocked at the appearance. Very worn furniture, bottom of walls were dirty and all scratched up, dead bugs on floor upon arrival. We also were looking forward to the screened in back porch which was filthy and so were the cushions in the chairs. This place needs to be renovated, cleaned, painted and updated. We didn’t even feel comfortable to leave...

"Justin and Christy were excellent hosts......it was the weekend of the blizzard of 2025 so he gave me a heads up on the hill that may have ice. This was much appreciated...switched from the car to the 4 WD immediately. It is pet friendly which is always a plus...we don't travel without them. Overall great little get away.**I would just add to your restaurant/entertainment listing. We got steaks from Cowboy Town about 5 miles up the road....they have live bands as well on weekends."
