Loved That they had a cute little Mexican restaurant across the street that was delicious Safeway with Starbucks inside right down the street great location for family travels. "Our Stay at LCL: A Great Adventure We've had the pleasure of visiting LCL multiple times, and it remains one of our favorite destinations near our hometown. The property is stunning, with a serene atmosphere that makes us feel like we're deep in the woods. Exploring the Property The area surrounding the property boasts beautiful walking paths that are a must-visit for anyone staying here. We highly recommend taking a stroll to enjoy the scenic views. Pet-Friendly, but at a Cost While LCL allows pets, the daily fee of $30 is quite steep. We hope they'll reconsider this policy in the future. Internet Access: A Major Drawback In today's digital age, it's surprising that internet access is only available at the lodge, which requires a walk to use. We'd love to see internet connectivity expanded throughout the property, especially in the cabins. This would make it easier for guests to work remotely and stay connected. Restaurant Review When open, the on-site restaurant is a real treat. The staff is energetic, and the chef knows their stuff. We highly recommend the Lamb Osso Bucco and Duck breast – both dishes were exceptional. However, the Harvest salad could use some flavor enhancements. Conclusion Despite some drawbacks, we'll be back at LCL in the spring when they reopen. With some improvements to internet access and pet policies, this destination could truly shine. Until then, we'll keep it on our list of favorite getaways."

"Most Motel 6 properties that I've seen on Hotels.com have a rating of around 6 or 7, this one was rated 8 so I decided to book it. The front desk staff were friendly, but the room was somewhat beat up and didn't seem very clean. Maybe it's because I had a pet-friendly room or maybe that's just what one can expect from a Motel 6, I don't know. But a coat of paint and undamaged furniture would go a long way to improving the guest's experience."
