"We had a lovely stay in a standard double room with sea view. The room was very clean and comfortable. The outdoor pool was lovely to swim in on a fairly cool April day, and the rest of the spa was great too. Breakfast was excellent - a very wide range of options including freshly cooked full Cornish. The coffee was rather weak, that's personal taste and the only thing I wouldn't have again. We loved the location. We wandered to Carlyon Bay, and along the coastal path - Charlestown harbour is only 15-20 minute walk to the west. Such a beautiful place for a night away. Very convenient for the Eden Project. The staff in all areas of the hotel were very friendly, polite and attentive. "

"I had a great stay there and the staff were extremely friendly and very helpful. I wasn’t expecting the hotel to be much as the rate was really cheap in comparison to other hotel prices, but when I arrived I was really impressed. The hotel was in a quiet and nice location, the rooms were clean and comfortable and it had a homely vibe to it. I would definitely stay there again if I was to ever go back to that part of Cornwall. "Staying here was a lovely experience. Fantastic location. Great, friendly service from all staff. Enjoyable bar food. Huge choice of drinks. Wonderful continental breakfast which included fresh fruit & exotic yoghurts, continental cold meats, cheese, cereals, choice of breads & selection of pastries. Really comfortable bed & pillows in attractive bedroom with great views from those in the front of the hotel. Only disappointment was having to pay £12.50 per day for parking.
