My only negative (from a foreigner) would be the food - it was very average/below average, but affordable. They did upgrade our room free of charge when our hot water didn’t work and they were very kind and accommodating when I asked for late check out (we left very late and they didn’t charge any extra for it) they also helped arrange taxi rides at the front desk. Overall, very good stay 👍"

"Not as advertised on Expedia. Elevator was not working. Had to carry luggage up and down the stairs. Had to request for breakfast even though it said breakfast included. Property has to be maintained better. "

"Staff are too good. Very beautiful place. Finding Uber is little challenging. However, the hotel has the option of drop off and pick up and the price is just little above Uber price. They are fantastic people. I’ll definitely visit this place again if I get chance to Sri Lanka again. Thank you! "

"This was a great stay, we came in late after a long flight and just wanted a place to crash for the night before heading south. It was quiet, clean and cool: we had AC and bed was comfy: a private shower/bathroom. My host was lovely and got up early to make us HUGE breakfast before we caught the train in Colombo. He arranged our (reasonably priced) taxi to the station and gave us free fresh bananas from his yard for the ride. 10/10 for the quick stay. Thanks again"
