"We had stayed at this hotel some years ago and it was just perfect. This year May 2024 we stayed again for one night It was very comfortable but the bathroom door was swollen and using bathroom during night made quite a noise. The curtains were a bit shabby but we did have electric shutters so maybe remove the shabby curtains altogether. Breakfast was good there was a good selection."

"Had a great time away with family and friends. 4 adults and 7 children for October school holiday. Plenty of room in the property. Children had a great time in games room with plenty of communal space to feel we weren’t all over each other. Comfy beds. Good kitchen equipment. Great outdoor space. We were hit by storm Ciaren and had a power cut for several hours. The owner was amazing and went out of his way to provide us with a gas stove!! Lovely man. Lovely property. We hope to return."

"This beautiful property exceeded all our expectations and while the listing is accurate it does not really reflect how amazing this property is . Nestled away the property is like a hidden gem set in stunning and well maintained gardens which are a delight to walk around . The tennis court is an added bonus . Inside the house is beautifully maintained with fixtures and fittings in line with the grandeur this property deserves. We could not have asked for a better place to celebrate our friends birthday and spending time just relaxing in the house and enjoying the space was perfect. Our hiost Marie was extremely communicative and helped put us in touch with Marianne the chef . This made our weekend - Marianne catered to our needs for breakfast which was large varied and splendid a 3 course evening meal -which was quite delicious . We ate in the auberge opposite for the first night but when we return we will request Marianne’s services for each night of our stay . It was a perfect weekend all round and we will definitely be back ."
