"Inn mgrs Mark and Brooke were awesome. Accommodated all our needs. Inn was beautiful, relaxing, and quiet. Breakfast by Brooke was delicious every day. This was our first visit to Maine, and specifically Boothbay Harbor, and it definitely made a fantastic first impression on us about how great Mainers are. Will definitely plan more trips to Maine. "

"We had a very pleasant stay for two nights at the Stonehouse Manor late season at Popham Beach. Our room had a beautiful view of the mouth of the Kennebunk River. In the morning we lay in bed watching the sun rise on the autumn colored hillside by Fort Popham through the large bay window. It was quiet. We strolled the expansive grounds with our coffee admiring the botanical variation particularly the huge old copper beech in front of the manor. A homemade breakfast of Rachels blueberry...

"DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE. iT IS A RIP-OFF. I GOT THErE EARLY AND HAD THE MISFORTUNE TO GET INSIDE THE PROPeRTY EARLY. THIS IS A HOARDER HOME THAT SMELLS LIKE CAT PEE. BOTH MY HUSBAND AND I WERE SCARED TO STAY ThERE. Also they suggest you have dinner there and the place is overgrown with plants. Truly in 44 years of traveling in the US and around the world this is the worst place to stay that I have ever been. We left and called Expedia to cancel even before the check in time and the owner...

The kids loved the 3rd floor bedroom space, and it was fabulous being so close to Popham Beach. Definitely recommend. Kitchen on 2nd floor ... so have some strong helpers to bring in groceries ;)"

"Everything was wonderful! The space is beautifully designed and you can tell the homeowners value the space as well and have put a lot of care into the property. It was so cozy and I loved that from every window you could just see trees and nature. The walk down to the water is so cute and it’s stunning on that little inlet. The house had everything I needed, including some basics like olive oil, honey etc which was so great. Would definitely stay again! "
