Modern Farmhouse: Olson North - close to downtown

The property:
When you're not wine tasting, indulging in local cuisine, or strolling Walla Walla's quaint downtown, relax with friends or family at this peaceful farm home at the base of the Blue Mountains. Located eight minutes from downtown and Whitman College, this property is spacious and comfortable, a modern take on simple farm lifestyle. Enjoy the sound of Yellowhawk Creek running through the backyard and spot the deer prancing through the pastures; Olson North is your charming oasis just minutes from the city.

The layout:
There are two large bedrooms with king beds, and smaller room on the other side of the house with a queen bed. The fourth bed is located in the living room; it is a traditional pull-out sofa bed and quite comfortable.

Guest access:
This property sits on 10 acres. We want you to enjoy the home and landscape. That said, this rental agreement is for the home and surrounding yard only. Access to the pastures, shop, and barn are NOT permitted.

Other things to note:
We have thoughtfully included a variety of items throughout the home to enhance your experience. Whether you're hosting a dinner party, playing games, or having a picnic in the backyard, we provide a wide array of amenities. These include cooking tools, serving dishes/platters, blankets, corn hole, badminton, volleyball, board games, children's toys, workout gear, coolers, etc.

True Farmhouse

Long driveway to a beautiful ranch style house with wild turkeys and a bubbling creek behind. So nice to sit outside and relax in the tree lined backyard with deer jumping the creek. The kitchen had all the amenities and even martini glasses. Loved the current decor that made it feel homey.

Perfect Getaway

Awesome weekend getaway. Property is remodeled with a ton of work done to the interior. Nothing was lacking in terms of amenities or cleanliness. Property is also very quiet and private. Whit was also very helpful and responsive to any needs or comforts. Will definitely be back.

A Little Slice of Heaven in Walla Walla

It was the perfect choice for our girls wine trip to celebrate my daughter’s 21st birthday! It was far enough from town to enjoy a little wildlife (deer, wild turkeys and a crane) and the most lovely backyard with a little creek running through it but still just a short 10 minutes to enjoy downtown and the wineries! Check in was so easy and the house was even more lovely than we expected! Plenty of room for the 6 of us with spacious common areas to gather and sleeping accommodations that were a welcome comfort after a day of wine tasting! This is a 5 Star Stay and we will be back!

College graduation

Our daughter graduated from college on the weekend we stayed. The house was very centrally located to everything we needed. Grocery store for dinner on the provided gas bbq, Hobby Lobby not far away for supplies to decorate daughter’s cap, breakfast locations close and the university campus just a quick trip down the freeway. We loved seeing the quail and deer around the property, had a huge yard for playing some volleyball, and loved hearing the creek in the backyard. It was a great stay!
