Cheerful And Spacious Home For Lovers Of Good Food And Wine

Our guests step in the door and fall in love with the warmth and spirited charm of our own Casa Cavatappi ('Corkscrew House' in Italian), a restored 1922 Craftsman house in an established residential neighborhood and furnished as lovingly as a permanent residence, within walking distance of downtown Walla Walla and Whitman College. Accommodates up to 8 people, with 4 bedrooms (3 with queen size beds and 1 with two twins), plus two single size sofa beds and a trundle bed. Has 3 bathrooms, one on each floor. With a bedroom and bath on the main floor, the house is a cozy retreat for 2 people. For a larger group's enjoyment spaces are designed for socializing and group activities as well as for finding quiet private time. A large TV/activities room is located downstairs, separate from main floor. A fully equipped kitchen that serves for daily family meals or gourmet dining. A lending pantry of basic cooking ingredients. A dining table that expands to serve up to 10 and two kitchen bars with stools for informal meals or conversation. A deck with barbecue, table set and sun umbrellas overlooks a fully fenced back yard. Off street parking for 3 vehicles plus ample street parking. Dog friendly with some restrictions. Wireless cable internet.

Great stay in a spacious house
We had a great time staying at this property. It was clean and had everything we needed. Lots of space for our big group of 6 adults, two kids, and dog. There was a little traffic noise from the street at night, but nothing too loud or disruptive. Looking forward to staying there again sometime soon!

The Girls Weekend Trip
We loved the house and deck. We walked to downtown Walla Walla easily. All the tulips and trees were blooming. The four bedrooms were perfect for 4 woman that need their privacy.

Perfect home for multiple couples.
The property was perfect for what we needed (4 couples). Loved the back patio for early morning coffee. Was walking distance to Main Street but we drove most times because it was hot. Top floor could use fan on hot days even with air conditioning but opened windows for night air.

Comfy stay in wine country
The house was amazingly well stocked with everything you might want on a vacation. There is a little bit of a musty smell as you walk in the front door, but it is an old house and it quickly dissipates with the doors and windows open. There is tons of space For together time and getting away from each other time. The fenced backyard was fabulous for our fur babies. Neighborhood is great only minutes from downtown Walla Walla and walking around the neighborhood. Seeing the great old homes was fun. Great Communication with the owner. We will definitely be back!

Comfortable and spacious home
This home is spacious, comfortable, clean, and well-maintained.The kitchen is well-stocked. There is plenty of room for 3 couples -- with at least one bedroom and bath on each floor and in the large basement. (As in many older homes, the stairs are steep, though.) It is located in a lovely walkable neighborhood, about a 25-minute brisk walk from downtown restaurants and tasting rooms. Highly recommended!

Our stay was absolutely perfect! The owner is super easy to work with and answers questions in a timely manner! The house was clean, just as described, and we’d stay there again in a heartbeat! The house is actually bigger than the pictures suggest. I forgot something when we left, and the owner is shipping it to me! Just an all around fantastic experience! You won’t be disappointed!! Wine Tasting Getaway with Europe Travel Friends
We stayed here 8 years ago. It is exactly the same. It was still a good place for our group of travel friends from Oregon and Washington. The house isn't upscale at all. Cozy is probably the best description. The kitchen is fully equipped. The welcome wine was a nice touch. We wish that it had more living room seating so that all 6 of us could visit comfortably to chat. We were all able to sit around the large kitchen table, but couches and comfy chairs would've been better. Other than that, it was still a good place.

Really enjoyed our stay. House has everything you need. Kitchen is very well stocked. We had a family of 6 and we were all very comfortable. It is always nice when you stay some place new to have plenty of lights and this house has that. Also towels, sheets, and pillows were quality and in huge supply. Back yard fenced with a comfortable seating. We enjoyed sitting out on the deck, playing the games they provided around the large dinning room table and watching movies downstairs in the game room.

Lovely charming home
My husband and I rented this charming house for a weekend in October with two other couples. The house was very well equipped with all essentials. There are cute little seating areas for some quiet time, a fully fenced yard for the dogs, and great entertaining spaces as well. The bedrooms are spacious and so cozy, and the house has three full bathrooms. Location is walking distance to downtown. We loved getting up early and taking the dogs on long walks around the town. The host was so easy to get in touch with and the instructions were all very clear. We had no issues at all and we had a truly lovely stay.

Perfect for 3 couples
Six of us stayed here for a weekend of wine tasting. We had three couples, a baby. and a dog. Each of the bedrooms are on separate floors and have their own bathroom and gives you plenty of privacy. The check in process was very easy and the house was clean and stocked with everything we needed. Nice fenced yard and deck which was great for the dog. We had a fabulous dinner at The Marc Restaurant the first night and stayed home and cooked the second night. All the dishes, condiments and cookware were readily available. The house was absolutely perfect. I highly recommend staying here when you are in Walla Walla.
