"Nice view, very nice place if the weather is OK, so tha you can make use of one of he many terasses, or the Biergarden. Food is excellent, room was very decent, nice balcony. All in all a very pleasant experience."

"Staff were nice and helpful, though didn’t fix soap dispenser after i asked. There were things unexplained and it made the stay a little challenging. No drawers or closets for clothes in the rooms made it difficult to arrange clothing during the stay, shower only made the whole floor wet and other users of the bathroom have to walk on wet tile floor and use same wet floor towel. Breakfast was good but a little expensive 14€, even if you only drink one coffee and eat one croissant. Did not try...

"We booked 3 rooms with air-conditioning during heatwave for multiple days. Upon arrival there was no airco. They offered us to book elsewhere at 9pm. No properties within driving distance w airco. Shower did not drain. Would not recommend. Expedia needs to be more accurate with hotel details so others don't have a similar experience."

"We checked into to the hotel on Sunday, October 1st after a 5 hour drive. The self check-in worked fine and we retreived our key. However, upon entering the room, we discovered that the room had not be cleaned from the prior guest. The sheets were dirty, there were pizza boxes in the trash, the towel were wet, and there was hair in the shower pan. "For anyone looking to stay in high or low season, Marions place is great. A perfectly short walk to the downtown, a ahort deive to rudesheim, where you can visit nearly everything you need to, be it a long, or short stay."

Modern 5-star luxury in a historic setting

3-Story, 2-bd, 2-bath conveniently located in Boppard.

"The house was a perfect place to spread out and relax, while exploring the Rhine by car and boat. The paid parking lot was very convenient to the lodging (once we discovered the shortcut under the road and up some stairs). We didn’t take advantage of the sauna or the jacuzzi tub, but the washer and full kitchen was perfect. I was surprised to find that the bed on the top floor was a waterbed—I slept like a baby. Bring your own toiletries. Beds are on upper floors using a spiral staircase. The bathroom with the shower is on the ground floor. The bathroom with the tub is on the middle floor. This was not an issue for us, but good to know. It was a short walk to the river to take the boat or car ferry. Excellent alternative to a hotel."
