Humble and fantastic!
Stunning ocean access in a humble, comfortable place. The best part by far is the short walk to the relatively secluded beach. The weekend we stayed in February happened to be beautifully warm. This place has the necessities and is located by cute small beach towns. I would stay here again!

This place has alot of old memories for us. My family has stayed here since i was a kid and we have always loved it. We will be sad to see it gone as i understand the 3 old cabins will be torn down soon. Thank you so much for years of family memories.

Just what I needed
I loved this little beach cottage! The walk to the coast was quick, and I could even see the ocean from the balcony. It’s just what I needed for a short getaway. Thank you! Some cosmetics updates/touchups are needed and a deep clean, but overall it was great!

Beach access was nice.
The cottage what smaller than anticipated and beds were extremely uncomfortable and hard. The TV listed over a hundred channels yet there was only 2 for kids to watch and getting the remote to work was difficult. The kitchen had must cooking essentials for dishes. The back yard had stickers in the grass and kids got them stuck in there hands and feet at times plus they got tracked into the cottage and then people stepped on them. The pleasant part of our trip was the close access to the beach and seeing the waves every morning. We drove down to Bob's Creek and explored the tide pools. Overall we will not stay again.

Relax at the beach
This is our 3 rd stay at this lil beach home. We like that it is close to town where we can get groceries and fix meals and never have to leave. Take many walks on the beach and collect treasures. Sit on the deck and soak up sun and listen to the waves crashing. It’s very nostalgic and quiet. The past few nights we could see all the stars in the sky and see a horizon of lights shimmering on the ocean from the fishing boats. We counted 16 boats. We were wondering what they were fishing for? We visit the Sunday market in yachats and get fresh bakery from the lil store there. This lil place is our new favorite place to unwind.. 5 stars in our opinion. In reading the reviews I can agree that the sticker plants in the landscape those are a nuisance. A cutting board is needed and sharper knives. We just bring our own and we are content. Can’t wait to go back!!

It's a cute spot close to everything we wanted to do with our children. The furniture was comfortable and my children enjoyed the space. Out only problem with the spot was all of the goat heads and stickers in the yard. My children unfortunately couldn't play outside. And pictured are benches in front of the units we stayed in for watching the sunset or waves, and we had no benches in front of the 3 units we stayed in, so we spent very little time outside. Overall we enjoyed our stay though.

the spot the condo was on was PERFECT. the house was sparsely supplied for cooking. I
The house stairs are very dangerous for older residents. even kids. but overall, the property is perfect for 2 good people Not a lot of eateries in the area, so cooking on premises is important, and again, not many staples available. Or pot Holders! But the site was lovely, and simple.

Great little place
Loved this little place especially its great location. Had an issue with the cable box and we msgd them. They were there right away! Great service! Comfy beds, clean, could listen to ocean while we slept. Only one thing…. Worst stocked kitchen! Not even a fork or plates. Bring everything. Lol. We spent a week at a house in Newport that had an over abundance of kitchen stuff (like 30 wine glasses) to nothing. So it was a shock. Lol. Did not ruin the stay at all though. Great little place that could be greater by just stocking the kitchen. Thank you! Would definitely stay again!!!!

Great location right on the beach. Loved sitting on the deck. Cottage is hard to find, there is no sign for Sanderling Sea Cottages, just the number on a building which is set back from the road and hidden by a hedge as you approach by road. Use Google maps and look for the flimsy Evolve sign by the driveway. Place needs updating - rather shabby looking with mismatched curtains etc. He stairs up to the bedroom are steep. If you have any problems with stairs this isn’t the place for you.

Nice cottage and location
The cottage was nice only two complaint. Upstairs is stuffy even if you turn the heat off. I opened the little window when it wasn't raining but still not enough air, also the TV is too small. The TV needs to be turned up high just to hear it, but then whoever is sleeping upstairs gets the noise. No way around it.

Clean and in a great location, but needs updating
I'll start by saying check-in is very easy, and the location is literally beachfront. That being said, the property was undergoing construction at the time of my visit, so water may have been shut off for the first hour or so of my stay. Easy fix, just let the property manager know. I'm excited to see how the newer construction units are - the one I stayed in was very dated, and in need of updates all around. I'll be back to see how upgrades went!

Great Secret Spot
We were very pleasantly surprised by this cottage! When you first pull up it doesn't look like you were honestly, should expect very much. They're in the middle of doing some renovations. With that being said, when you walked in, it's very cozy and inviting. Clean with beautiful views!! I almost don't want to write a review because I don't want other people to like it LOL JK, this is a great stay and a great value!!

Everything great in Unit 2
Except for the sheets- quality poor, perhaps 100% synthetic (or cotton completely washed away). As a light sleeper, this really affected how well I slept. The decor was a little outdated but that’s not a complaint. The beach was right outside the back door and noise from Rt. 101 was a non-issue. The unit was clean & bathroom & kitchen were modern enough and well stocked. Beautiful sunsets from balcony when not foggy!

Fabulous view - awesome distance to beach. Parking easy. Physical unit was very poor - not VBRO standards. Needs updating. Kitchen very limited and items old - knives didn't work. Workman barged in saying he thought we were checking out (two days before our departure). Listing should have said 4 miles from town - both Yachats or Waldport.

The view was fabulous and the distance to beach was awesome. Parking easy. The physical unit needs updating. I could not get TV to work - NO directions. Kitchen VERY limited on items, and scissors and knives didn't work. Could have used more blankets. Workman barged in saying he thought we were checking out. 4 miles from either town - Yachats or Waldport - wish I would have known that.
