TheJackWest is a remodeled cabin with an unparalleled view of the Oregon Coast. 4 beds + Loft & family room, 2 bath. We pride ourselves in offering everything you would expect if it was yours..... and MORE! All linens, pillows & towels included. Sleeps 8 comfortably at full capacity. Booking guests must be at least 25yrs of age.

With nothing between you and the Pacific Ocean but pristine Oregon sandy beach, you'll enjoy singing birds and sea views all while hearing the ocean roar. It’s always a pleasure to breathe the fresh sea air that constantly refreshes and cools the house during warm Summer days. You will not be disappointed by this view!

The beach is right out your door so go ahead and use our beach equipment to hang out on the beach, cook around a campfire, or just soak in the raw natural beauty that the Pacific Ocean has to offer.

Whale watching, surfing, sea kayaking, amazing hiking and shopping are literally within minutes distance of our location. For indoor entertainment, you can enjoy board games, watch movies on SmartTV apps and premium channels HBO, Showtime, Cinemax including premium sports channels on of the large HD flat screen TV’s. We are proud to present a collection of original art throughout (over 13 pieces).

The fully stocked kitchen is set up for entertaining with stainless appliances and with a grill off one of the decks, there's literally everything you need to prepare a large gourmet family meal. For those of you with little ones, please enjoy the use of our pack n play and highchair.

Not only is TheJackWest unique in its views, location (beach access just steps away) and design. Privacy and serenity will greet you here in a pristine and clean environment both inside & out. The house sits on a medium bank just above the pristine & private beach/ocean. No houses visible and unobstructed views of the Ocean.

The 2 bathrooms are fresh, clean & modern with updated lighting and plumbing fixtures. We provide plenty of towels, soap & shampoo/conditioner. We clean with environmentally conscious cleaners whenever possible. You'll find eco-friendly updates such as dimmable LED bulbs throughout, and high-efficiency appliances including washer/dryer.

The house features soaring vaulted ceilings with tons of natural light coming in through over 20 windows & skylights. You'll enjoy stunning views in every direction while cozying up to the grand slate gas fireplace. Enjoy time with family and friends in the family room which features an additional tv. Entertaining is a pleasure with our fully stocked kitchen and multiple furnished decks.

It's a 2-minute walk to the neighborhood beach access where you can enjoy long walks, runs, beach fires, surfing, swimming, and sunbathing. Walport center is a 5-minute drive and you can be in Newport or Yachats in 15 - 20 minutes. TheJackWest is located 2+ hours from Portland and 45 minutes from Lincoln City.

We offer high-speed free wi-fi, a full cable channel line up on 2 large flat screen tv’s. For those of you with little children, we offer a pack n play and highchair for your use.

We'll do our best to make your stay and your beach activities as uncomplicated and pleasant as possible.

This location is gorgeous, as advertised, and the public areas of the house are updated and comfortable. Fabulous decks and amazing views. Excellent WiFI and copious TV options. The bedrooms are a bit dated, and the heating is via wall units and very finicky. Kudos to Operations Manager Alina for quickly responding to and resolving our problems with the heat!

Beautiful oceanfront home
Beautiful home with a beautiful view! The house had everything we needed for cooking our own meals and very comfortable sleeping, lounging, and dining accommodations. The view out the large windows and on the deck is absolutely gorgeous. The property is clean and ideal spot for an almost private beach vacation. This was our first visit to the area and we were pleased with how quiet the location is for how close it is to Waldport and Newport for grocery stores and restaurants. We loved our stay and would book again!

The home was beautiful. The carpet and bedrooms were a little dated and the front yard could have used some landscaping. It is a bit over priced, but had such beautiful views I didn't mind. Other than that we had a fantastic time!

From the moment we walked to the front deck we knew it was going to be a perfect vacation spot. Endless beach (we walked 10km and it still kept going), breathtaking sunsets, a fully equipped kitchen. Everything you need and want. The owners gave succinct instructions and great dining recommendations. Would absolutely recommend. Thanks for everything David and Pascal..

Amazing View, Solitude, Tastefully Appointed
We had a wonderful spring break family stay in this tastefully decorated house. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped. Dining table and living room were fun gathering places. The TV/game room was great play space for the kids and dogs, and provided surge space for coolers etc. We had a glorious sunny afternoon and enjoyed time on the beach then sunning on the deck high above the long, nearly empty beach. Two considerations: The house was smaller than the photos appeared, think cozy, the bedrooms were tight. Young adults, kids and dogs enjoyed the nearby stairs down to the beach. Old folks with creaky knees drove 1/4 mile north to a paved trail, then was easy to reunite on the beach. We had fun and would rent this house again.

Very nice home, but small.
We enjoyed our stay at Jack West. For a beach rental, the home is very well kept and taken care of. The location is great & the views are phenomenal. If you like to cook, the kitchen is very well stocked with everything & more that you might need. We love to cook & we found everything we needed except measuring spoons. Everything in the kitchen is in good shape and useable, unlike a lot of beach rentals we have stayed at. There is an abundance of quality towels & linens. The beds are very comfortable. The grandson really enjoyed the loft area. Access to the beach is great unless you have problems with stairs. The deck & fireplace are the best if you have perfect weather like we did. However, the house is small. The bedrooms are very small & cramped. There is only room to walk around the beds. No place for luggage or shoes or anything else. The living room is too small to accommodate more than 7 or 8 people. There is no master suite. Only 2 of the bedrooms have a closet. The bed pillows need replaced. Housekeeping needs to clean under the beds. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Great Beach House!
We really loved our short stay on the Oregon coast in this beach house. The bathrooms were so clean and updated. The house had tons of character and the back deck overlooking the beach was so special! The kitchen had what we needed and the entire house was well equipped! Would come back for sure if we are ever visiting Oregon again!

Girls Trip
Four new girl friends stayed two nights in this house to get to know each other and have some girl time. I was so fun, the view is amazing and the house is wonderful. We spent Sunday in Florence at the shops and eating out. The home owners were easy to chat with online and accommodating to us. Great Stay!

This cosy house is steps away from the beach with awesome views from the house an a great deck! The house is very well equipped and was comfortable for our party of 6 adults and a 5-year old. Would definitely recommend.

With a little macgyvering...............
We had a 40th Birthday party for a buisness partner that included a couple of families. Beautiful beach views. Nice big open deck. Private for being so close to other homes. And a really nice central location to access little towns like Yachats, Waldport, Newport and Depoe Bay. The Beds were comfortable and the rooms were pretty well insulated and quiet. The Kitchen came pretty well equipped with kitchen utensils and gadgets. And the Water pressure was no less then great. As a rental, I am sure that this location gets booked regularly and that can put a strain on some of the appliances and furniture in the home. Especially when people feel that they are entitled to treat it like a rental. With that being said, there were just a couple of slightly frustrating things that were manageable but caught us off guard. For instance the stove top, one of the burners has three settings, inner inner middle and all on setting. This burner has no inner burner just the outer ones. Fine if your making a space. Bad if your scrambling eggs. One of the other three just turns on, and that seems to be only high..... So great for boiling water.....Bad for eggs again. LOL. My only complaints were that the odor absorbing Buckets of some cotton scented stuff in each closet was a bit overwhelming and once we put them into the back room the smell of those subsided quickly and we felt we could breathe better. We replaced them in each room as we departed. The only other issue we had was that we woke up on Saturday morning to a opened widow in the living room, the one that say do not open. We inspected the outside and from the big wind and rain storm we noticed the piece of driftwood holding it shut was not doing its job any longer. Luckily there was not water inside from this, just letting the warm air out. Other then those little issues, the place delivered fun, laughter, views and very cabin like feel for an Oregon coast get away. No REAL complaints just things to be aware of and yes we would recommend the Jack West to others looking for a space for a couple of groups to stay comfortably.

This was the perfect space for a mix bag from 1 year old - 50 year olds. Loved the house and beach access / location. Beach access is a 10. House is a bit worn (old carpet in bedrooms biggest opportunity for improvement. cover on couch stained pretty bad, rec room ecletic mix of old stuff). older house, but all in all a great place to be. would rent again.

Waldport Beach Vacation
This is an excellent location for a beautiful beach home. It’s both close to Waldport where some of our group rented a boat and went crabbing and also close to Newport where we visited Nye Beach area. The rest of the trip was spent enjoying the house with great beach access and not a lot of people on the beach. The house was perfect for our group of 8 adults and 2 children (who loved the loft bed area and slept there). This is a wonderful home to stay in and it’s in a perfect spot for a vacation. Having it dog friendly was definitely a bonus for our furry family who came with us. I highly recommend this property, the Jack West.

We loved our stay here. The house easily fit two families with young kids, and we made full use of the outdoor seating, easy beach access, and stunning views. Would definitely rent this place again, it feels close to great food, state parks, and cute towns yet remote and tucked away when you're in the house.

Wonderful views from the dining area and deck and living room. House is one level with good beach access. Dated and not quite as splendid as the description but an excellent spot for a family get away. We were 3 generations of adults and it worked well for us. Bedrooms are small and the 2nd bath is located by the dining room, but the loft was a winner with my grandson! We did not really use the family room since it is a converted garage and right next to the living room, but it would be useful if you had a big group. Kitchen is adequate, though we could find no measuring cups or spoons (which we have now donated to the cause). Seating for 6 at the table with fabulous views for any meal; we all loved this. Fireplace worked well. Lots of late afternoon sun through the many west windows. All in all an enjoyable place to stay.
