Chalet Café-Chocolat

We propose to you to the hiring, on the commune of Waldighofen, this charming country cottage in edge of forest of a surface of 75 m ² and being able to accomodate to 4 travellers. It is composed of a nice living room of 32 m² (with fireplace), a fully equipped kitchen, two nice bedrooms, a bathroom and you can enjoy a garden of about 237 m² with a terrace and a balcony. Do you want peace and quiet in a natural setting? This is the accommodation for you!

The accommodation is composed as follows:
On the ground floor :
- A living room of 32 m² with TV, fireplace (wood provided next to the stove, if needed more in addition), armchairs, sofa and dining area.
- A fully equipped kitchen including: electric kettle, oven, microwave, toaster, dishwasher, hotplates, filter coffee machine...
On the first floor :
- Bedroom 1 (14.7 m²): a double bed (140×190), a closet and two armchairs.
- Bedroom 2 (12.25 m²): two single beds, a chest of drawers and two night tables.
- A bathroom with shower, bathtub, double sink and toilet.

Exterior :
- A beautiful enclosed garden of about 237 m² and a terrace of about 39 m² with furniture (tables, chairs and deckchairs) to enjoy the nice days (sunny in the morning).
- A balcony of about 6 m².

For even more comfort, the owners have decided to invest in the following additional equipment: electric barbecue, high chair, ironing board and iron.

The house is ideally located in Waldighofen, in a very pleasant and quiet environment with a view at the back of the house on a forest. You can benefit from the proximity of all essential shops but also boutiques, restaurants, bars, market...

Activities :
- Tourist sites : Mulhouse zoo at 40 min, Basel zoo at 40 min, Europa-Park at 1h45, Colmar and its old town, Kaysersberg at 1h20...
- Sporting activities : Hiking trails, kayaking at 30 min, karting, golf, swimming pool

Transportation :
If you choose to come by car, you will be able to park directly in the private enclosure of the chalet in free parking (except camping Car).

As for other means of transportation, here is some information that may be useful to you:
- Nearest train station: Mulhouse train station located at about 38 minutes by car.
- Nearest airport: EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg located at approximately 27 minutes by car.

Other remarks :
- Bed linen included.
- Towels are not included and can be provided on request at an additional cost of 7.50€ per person for the stay (rental and payment to be made with our partner on site).
- The end of stay cleaning includes the preparation of the accommodation for future visitors. Please leave it in a clean and tidy condition and clean the appliances after use.
- Free Wifi available (fibre optic).
- The fireplace is functional, wood is provided next to the stove, if more wood is needed it will be extra.
- Pets are not allowed in the accommodation.
- A flat rate of 10 kW per day is included in the rental price. Beyond this, the kW will be charged at 0,18 or the current cost price. Payment on site.
- All requests for arrival or departure outside the times indicated are subject to availability of the concierge. A flat rate supplement may be charged.
- Visitors are not permitted. Only those who have made a reservation are allowed access to the accommodation.
- Evenings and parties are not allowed.
- The landlady can communicate with you in French and German.

The property was stunningly clean and fresh, the owners are a lovely couple, very friendly and welcoming and have thought of every detail to make the stay comfortable and a home from home. The village is very quiet but if you are happy to drive then it’s a perfect base to explore the area.

Chalet Café-Chocolat We hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad. Bij aankomst werden we hartelijk verwelkomd en werden alle ins & outs voor het huisje uitgelegd en werd het haardvuur voor ons aangestoken. Vanwege de feestdagen was het huisje helemaal in kerstsfeer versierd. Dit was een leuke verrassing! Doordat de restaurants in het dorp gesloten waren ivm de feestdagen, moesten we iets verder rijden voor een hapje eten op onze eerste avond (26-12), de andere dagen hebben we zelf gekookt. In de omgeving is genoeg te doen: Mullhouse is een leuke stad met mooie musea en Basel is via de trein vanuit Saint Louis heel makkelijk te bereiken. Dat is zeker een aanrader!

Séjour dans un magnifique chalet à Waldighofen
Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans ce chalet et nous serions restés plus longtemps si nous n'avions pas eu une raison de partir. Dès le début, Françoise et son mari ont fait preuve d'une grande flexibilité, car nous avons dû déplacer nos dates. Lorsque nous sommes arrivés, ils nous ont accueillis et nous ont montré le chalet. L'endroit était extrêmement propre, probablement l'endroit le plus propre où j'avais séjourné jusqu'à présent. Le chalet était très bien équipé, avec une belle vue et dans un quartier très calme. Nous avons apprécié beaucoup de choses, comme la cheminée et la culture du recyclage. La maison est très bien organisée, la salle de bain très grande et le lit extrêmement confortable. Nous recommandons vivement. Merci Françoise!

Il se trouve juste derrière la forêt, ce qui est très appréciable lors des fortes chaleurs. Nous avons profité du jardin sécurisé pour les enfants et de la terrasse à l’ombre! La proximité de la forêt permet de belles balades. Toutes les commodités ne sont pas très loin en voiture. Par contre, nous adorons cuisiner et pour une semaine le logement, il manquait quelques accessoires de cuisine (une grande passoire, un grand plat à gratin, des casseroles supplémentaires, des saladiers en verre...) Nous avons été accueillis chaleureusement par Françoise la propriétaire de ce magnifique chalet où nous avons passé un agréable séjour. Le chalet est dans un état impeccable, très très propre, il y a également tout le nécessaire de cuisine, Françoise a également prévu des plaids, des chaussons, sèche cheveux.... tout est prévu pour le confort des locataires.
