Cozy Cottage- 3 blocks from Main St., Walden, CO

This quaint, well maintained cabin/cottage is located just three blocks from Main Street, Walden, Colorado. Walden is in the heart of North Park, an outdoors man's paradise and the moose viewing capital of Colorado. The cabin is approximately 850 square feet with two bedrooms and one bathroom. There is a pull-out couch to accommodate up to two additional people. The kitchen is fully furnished and an outdoor grill is available. A cozy gas fireplace is the main source of heat, but is only necessary during the cool fall nights and in throughout the winter months. The cabin was built in 1924, but has been well maintained and updated throughout the years. The cabin is also conveniently located one block from the town park and two blocks from the indoor swimming pool.
Steamboat Springs, Granby, and Laramie (WY) are an hour drive from Walden (weather dependent).

Great and Easy Landing Spot for Walden
This well equipped property was in town close to Walden’s businesses and restaurants. The owners made the rental and stay super easy for my wife and I. Would stay here again if traveling to Walden in the future.

Quaint and comfy
The cottage is a survivor of a bygone era. We absolutely enjoyed the antique nature of the building. If only the walls could talk...what a history lesson it would give! It is warm, cozy, clean, and met all of our needs. We look forward to returning.

Cozy cabin
Great little cabin we basically used as base camp while snowmobiling local mountain ranges. My favorite feature of this cabin was the shower. This shower had tons of pressure and the water got nice and hot. Great for those sore muscles. One thing I didn't care for (its personal preference) was the memory foam mattress in the bedroom. Get stuck in the middle, hard to get out. Overall a very comfortable, warm space. Great sunrise, and sunset views. Would like to see wifi added for next time.

The owner was great with communication, house well equipped, but not the owner’s fault that internet company was having trouble in that area. Could not connect to Wi-Fi. She did everything to help us out.

The cottage space was actually larger than we expected. Everything was very clean including the pans to cook with. This is usually not the case at other places we have stayed. The hitch for us was lack of Wifi. We learned at the last minute it would not be available. When I emailed the manager, I was told WiFi was, indeed, available--it was not! The other point that drives me crazy with these places is the tacked on fees. The nightly rate looks great and then the fees add almost the cost of another night. I would like the rate to include these things. It would be higher but at least you know what you are going to pay.
