"Great little spot for snowmobile trip! Close to the trail. Trails were in rough shape but there is a lot of snowmobile traffic this year so is to be expected. We liked the house and location. The only thing I wish there was Wi-Fi, as we didn’t have cell service so couldn’t get contact with family back home in the case of an emergency"

"Stayed here Feb 2018 and now again Jan 2025. Both times the place was neat, clean, well equipped and the hosts were great. To note - different hosts each time but ownership stayed in the family. Excellent location when taking in all that the Porkies has to offer. Will be staying again in the future."

"Ny wife and I arrived to a clean cabin. Both check in and out was a pretty straightforward process. Communication with Jackie was concise and clear. Cell phone coverage was spotty at best but the cabin had decent enough wifi."

"We got to our cabin and the place was a complete mess. The beds were not made, and the dirty linens were all shoved in a corner. There was mold in the fridge and food left in the microwave. The main lodge was not left unlocked for us to access the kitchen. The men's bathroom was locked, and the women's bathroom had no electricity. The women's bathroom also did not have access to water, and toilets did not work. Overall, it is an environment not to be able to stay in. I do not recommend anyone...

"We enjoyed a wonderful stay at Artist's Cove. Beautiful view of the lake in a tranquil environment. Used the kayaks and ate breakfast on the deck. The cottage was well appointed with comfortable furniture and—true to its name—abundant aesthetically pleasing artwork. Bathrooms were fine and the bed was so comfortable that we slept in every morning! The kitchen is fully functional and has everything needed for a pleasant stay. Plenty of restaurants, grocery and things to do within a 5-20 minute...

"We had a great weekend — had bad luck with super cold weather (high of -17) that limited our ski time but the cabin with fireplace and sauna helped us make the most of our time away. Lots of amenities (only thing missing was colander for spaghetti) and lots of room for our group of 6. We appreciated the games and DVDs"
