"On a whim, we decided to take a night away. Barely 90 mins away from Akl, and less than an hour from the beach at Raglanwe found an absolute gem & nature retreat in beautiful rural Ngaruawahia. Host Gaylene's attention to detail & delightful gardens made it easy to relax straight away. We would highly recommend & hope to return soon. "

"Lovely little cottage on a lifestyle block. Kitchen well appointed with everything you need for cooking meals. Modern stovetop and oven an added bonus. Loved the decor and the deck protected you from the summer sun.Rod would periodically check in to see if we needed anything, like extra towels. "Great little cottage to stay in, secure off-street parking. Dermott, the host was amazing. I had to get him out of bed very early on Sunday with a flat battery. He gave us a jump; nothing was a problem. Would stay again any time."

"Second stay at this Motel on our return from Auckland. Upgraded to a superior room with all facilities including spa bath. The room looked fairly recently redecorated and in first class condition. Excellent condition and cleanliness."

"Good accommodation for a family of four. Room was clean and spacious. No lift to 3rd floor so a little hassle carrying cases up a flight of stairs. Limited parking onsite so needed to park in pay car park across road. "
